Hey, I never even saw her on Buffy, so there! 
And I don't even think she's a knockout like a lot of folks do, just very attractive. Obviously not everybody is going to be attracted to her, and I'd agree that for Hollywood she is pretty much average...but just like these things always go on here, I'm merely suggesting almost everybody (skinny geek or Brad Pitt doppelganger...but clearly not pudding of a sexual nature) would "hit it" in the real world. 
And I don't even think she's a knockout like a lot of folks do, just very attractive. Oh, I'd hit it in the real world too. She's not real world ugly. Just ugly by celeb standards, imo.

I'm really shocked at the disdain for her. She is a very cute girl. I understand she's not top ten in the world, but I don't get people acting like she's a two-bagger.
I think she is a very talented actress however. I have heard she doesn't have much personality in real life, but she was one of the best parts of BTVS and for that I will always give whatever she is involved in a shot.

They aren't my standards, Champ. I don't make the rules. I only go by what is put on my tv screen. By tv/movie standards, Alyson Hannigan is ugly-my opinion, of course. I can understand why geeks would be into her, but conventionally attractive she sure as shit is not in my opinion. The fact that she was once on a show that nerds creamed their pants over doesn't magically make her attractive in my opinion.

I personally have never understood the love for Alyson Hannigan. I find her looks to be near repulsive. That said, I didn't think Robin looked particularly good last night, either. I normally find her really cute, but her hair made her look not so hot. Victoria, on the other hand, yes please-extra 15 pounds or otherwise. I've always liked that actress, going back to when she was on the final season of Huff.

Not sure what that is, I don't play video games and I'm not a 22 year old who slobbers over a woman who is average looking and is only beloved because she was on a nerd/fanboy show 10 years ago.

Yes, I enjoy sci-fi. Yes, I watched Buffy. Does that make me a "geek"? Maybe. What the fuck does that have to do with anything? For the record, AH was pretty much always the nerdy girl on Buffy. Even when they made her a "hip lesbian", they never succeeded in making her hot. Only on HIMYM has she come into her own and become more attractive in my opinion.
