I don't watch this and have no plans to. But, I figure some of you here will and especially now with Ashton Kutcher as the lead. So here you go, the one and only Two and a Half Men thread. Enjoy!! So make fun of it, call it shit or whatever, I don't care.

The curiosity has gotten to me. I'm going to watch. It'll probably stupid and unfunny but I'm curious enough to watch it tonight.

Eiiiii. I always thought that the reason that Charlie Harper worked so well was that Charlie Sheen was essentially playing himself. I just don't know if this will work. In general guys don't like Ashton Kutcher, women do. I'll be watching but I won't feel guilty for the dropping the show if it doesn't click.

An internet billionaire? Really? What's going to be funny about that? Although, I love the show and watch it in syndication, the old show that is. but the internet billionaire thing kind of throws me. I'll give it a chance, why not? I'll be interested in how they pull the switch from Charlie to " Walden ? " I hope they announce what happened to Charlie Harper. That's what i'm looking for since they announced Ashton taking Sheen's place on the show.

I'll watch with curiosity, but if Ashton's character is broken hearted and not good with women, then that leaves Alan as the alpha male, and that's just bad.

I normally don't watch this, but may catch tonight's premiere to see how they handle the introduction.

When does this air? If it doesn't conflict with other shows I'll be watching today, I may catch it.

I on the other hand will be guilt ridden if I don't watch every single episode. I wish I could be as callous as you Starseed.

It's against Hell's Kitchen, Dancing with the D-list stars and The Sing-Off.

Damn! I'm going to miss it, I can only record two shows in that time slot and I'm getting Hell's Kitchen in SD and HD.

I've never been a regular viewer of this show, I catch it from time to time in syndication if nothing else is on but it isn't must see tv. I however am also curious to see how this will play out and how they write Sheen's character off so I'll set the DVR.

re: Two and a Half Men -- Now with Ashton Kutcher -- (CBS)

This will be the first time i watch a full episode of two and a half men. Hope it's good.

I've noticed Sheen has been trying to make amends in the media. I think he's just preparing for when/if Kutcher doesn't bring in the ratings they'll drop him and bring back sheen now that he's made apologies and appears to be clean...

How awesome would it be if the show tanks and they bring back sheen for twice what they were paying him before.

I've seen 4 or 5 episodes over the years, and they were all so incredibly stupid. Even for a goofy sitcom.

That being said, I will definitely be watching tonight. I have to see what happens.

That would be a little hard considering:

Spoiler:
His character was killed off and the premiere episode opens with his funeral.

re: Two and a Half Men -- Now with Ashton Kutcher -- (CBS)

My prediction. The show will have big ratings for the first 2 or 3 episodes just out of people's curiosity, but then the ratings will continue to drop and will be about half of what it used to be wit Sheen (at best). The only way this show goes on for more than one more season (other than Sheen coming back) is by doing more changes in the hopes of turning things around - which it wont.

re: Two and a Half Men -- Now with Ashton Kutcher -- (CBS)

I want Sheen to come back about 4 episodes in and have him say he faked his death. And then tell Alan and (forgot the sons name) that he never needs to work again because he married a rich older woman and when he goes over to open the door Susan Lucci walks in.

As a diehard fan I gave this show a chance. Well after one episode, I'm officially done with this show!

re: Two and a Half Men -- Now with Ashton Kutcher -- (CBS)

Hmmm...

Airing one part of a two part episode. They're really milking it.

By not airing the two parts back to back I'm sensing they feel weakness in the series and want to try to stretch it out.

As far as the episode goes I felt the bitterness in the comedy. I enjoyed the show to an extent but not with how angry the comedy was as Sheen's character.
