I loved him in Homefront and kinda loved him in Early Edition. I tolerated him in The Lyon's Den and it all lead up to FNL and FINALLY winning his EMMY!
Bravo Kyle!

I feel like I grew up watching this dude on TV. Never watched FNL but good for him.

Once you give "FNL" a chance, you're hooked. Everyone I've loaned my DVD's too, they kept watching the entire show.

Mad Men haters coming out in 3,2,1...

Seriously though season 4 was a really good season. But I would have preferred Friday Night Lights to go out with a best drama win.

I would've gone with TGW, but that Mad Men win is fine with me...anything but Boardwalk.

I'm happy for Kyle Chandler, Margo Martindale and Peter Dinklage.

I like Melissa McCarthy, but I don't she was deserving of a win. I wish Amy Poehler or Martha Plimpton would have won.

He acted surprised that he won. If he still got tomorrow's news today he would have known and could've prepared a speech. ;)

Happy with some of the winners.

I thought Carell would finally win this year, but I don't watch the Big Bang Theory so I can't comment on Jim Parsons.

The Suitcase was the best hour on television in the past year, but it's difficult to be upset with FNL winning best writing. That having been said, as much as I like Kyle Chandler that was Jon Hamm's award he going home with tonight.

Downton Abbey was terrific. Hopefully more people will watch it now. I think season two starts in January.

The highlight of the evening for me was when Margo Martindale won. I actually shouted yes.

Finally, it didn't really register with me when the nominations were made, but I figured it out tonight when they read Idris Elba's nomination for Luther. Where was Ruth Wilson for best supporting actress in a mini-series? I mean seriously. WTF?

So it seems pushing back Braking Bad for 4 months was useless....

Didn't see the award show but I just noticed that Louis CK was nominated. I like to think he's already earned it for next year.

As long as they submit "Ducklings" and not the 30-minute fart joke.

Margo Martindale - Awesome. She was terrific in Justified.

Best Comedy Actress nominees - Okay, that was a funny bit coming on stage.

Sex group song - What in the holiest of fucks was that?

Voiceover Guy making jokes about winners - Drink bleach, please. Kill your family first. That's how much I hate you.

Jane Lynch - YOU'RE A LESBIAN! WE GET IT!

Modern Family - for all the love, especially for Ty Burrell.

Jon Hamm was robbed, Christina Hendricks should have won as well. Mad Men should have swept. How the fuck does some random episode of SNL win over The Suitcase, which was the best episode of the best season of the best series on TV?

Huh? I assume Breaking Bad wasn't eligible because of the delay, right?

Random episode of FNL? Katims won for writing "Always" which was the series finale.

When it comes to FNL, it seems there are two camps: people who hate it and can't understand why it gets the awards and acclaim, and people who have seen the show.

Yeah. No Breaking Bad this eligibility period was largely viewed as a way for AMC to get Hamm his Emmy by moving three-time winner Bryan Cranston out of the category. It didn't help.

The Suitcase was the best hour of TV this season, I'll agree with that. It should have been recognized. Amazingly, Mad Men got shut out of all the awards and went an astonishing 0-18 prior to winning the Best Drama award again. How is that even possible?

I really wish Parks And Recreation would have won Best Comedy Series, but I know realistically it didn't stand a chance. I still think it's the funniest show on television, but I think I'm in the minority there. Actually, it might be a tough call between Parks And Recreation and Season Two of The League, which was incredibly funny; but no way "a show about fantasy football" ever wins an Emmy. Still, nice to see Modern Family win over Glee and The Big Bang Theory, even if Season Two was a bit lackluster at times.

I'm surprised Carrell didn't win for Outstanding Lead in a Comedy Series, just as sendoff for him and his character. And if not him it should have been Louis CK. But in no case should someone have The Big Bang Theory have won; that show is garbage.

I like Melissa McCarthy alright and the few episodes I watched of Mike & Molly actually weren't so bad, but I was pulling for Martha Plimpton. She did such a good job on Raising Hope, it's a shame she couldn't have been further recognized for it. The only one that gave her a run for her money to me was Amy Poehler, but it seems anything or anyone associated with Parks And Recreation is just lucky to get a nomination.

And speaking of being lucky to get a nomination, it's a crime that Community had ZERO nominations. It was way funnier than Modern Family this year (and last year) and Donald Glover consistently delivered more laughs than anyone else in the Comedy Actor category.

At least Margot Martindale won; she was incredible in Justified and very deserving of the win.

I figured Ty Burrell would win over Eric Stonestreet this year; Phil was much funnier than Cam in the second season. Nice to see Julie Bowen win as well.

Futurama

I'm surprised Paul McCrane won for Guest Actor in a Drama Series. I didn't end up keeping up with the show, but his character wasn't anything to write home about, unless something big happened toward the end of the season. I think Jeremy Davies should've been a strong contender though; while Margo Martindale was incredible, I think Jeremy Davies actually outshined her and everyone else on the show when it was all said and done.

Exactly.
Season 4 of Mad Men is probably the best season of any show since Season 3 of the Wire. Friday Lights winning the awards that it did is a complete joke.

Kyle Chandler finally winning an Emmy, awesome. He was absolutely brilliant in five seasons of FNL.
