Wouldn't one think that even if it is on cable, why do a song where half the words are Fuck, shit and the N word, not to do it due to MTV muting half of it?

This was full of unintentional comedy. Justin Bieber showing us what it would have looked like if there had been a lesbian in Color Me Badd. Tyler the Creator's acceptance speech: "I'd just like to say something to the kids out there..." followed by a string of bleeped profanity.

I also think it's comical that everyone turns into their parents. "Is this what music has become?" Like clockwork.

Holy shit. Watching the replay of this crap. Didn't realize that feminine looking dude was Lady GaGa.
Edit: Thanks, Rypro.

Adele was great.
Never heard of young the giant. But liked the song.
Paul Rudd had to be thinking. Why the fuck am I up here with @rickrozay. That was lame. And I like both of them. The vocals on Kanye and jayz were off.
I liked how beyonce toldneveryone she was pregnant.

I'm not saying you should care, I get that, but to fail to see why it would matter in the context it was presented is silly.

I thought that was really good as well. I also though the Beyonce performance, and subsequent preggers reveal was a neat moment, but otherwise the VMAs aren't for me. I'm 30, and this show makes me feel like a dinosaur. The show looks really slick now. I like the set design and all. It's very glam.
I also think it's comical that everyone turns into their parents. "Is this what music has become?" Like clockwork.

I know it's cool to be above everything these days, and while it isn't an earth-shattering development that is going to affect people's lives in any real way, you honestly don't see why people would care -- people who are watching a show on MTV? MTV, a channel, that has been as big of a supporter of Beyonce's (and Jay-Z for that matter) career as any outfit I can think of? Of course that's going to be a big deal to MTV, and a sizable portion of the audience that's watching these awards.

So that was Brian May? It looked like him and he had the same hairstyle, but I never knew his hair color had turned all grey. I'm used to seeing him with dark brown hair. We're all getting older.
The one thing that puzzled me was Cloris Leachman. She may be a legend, but what was the purpose of her appearance and why would she associate herself with those skanks from Jersey Shore?
A classy lady alongside no-class trashy skanks equals......... well, it would equal what I would expect from a channel that wouldn't even acknowledge its 30th anniversary.

How does Chris Brown still have a career? Also why are people still clapping for this guy? (Kanye)
Adele was great.
I liked the Amy Tribute. I like Bruno Mars, but his hair is ridiculously distracting.
