Lucy's 100th Birthday! 100 episodes on MeTV, Aug 4-8

Couldn't find another thread on this. August 6th is Lucille Ball's 100th birthday. MeTV will be showing 100 episodes of Lucy's sitcoms this weekend. Starting at Midnight Friday/Late Thursday August 5/4 and continuing through 8am Monday, August 8 (all times Eastern).

This will be a mixture of episodes of I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show and The Lucy-Desi-Comedy Hour (here titled We Love Lucy and presented in half hour segments).

Most of us on these boards have probably seen the first two series aplenty and often, but Lucy-Desi hasn't been rerun that often; there were only 13 episodes produced. So, if you're curious or might wonder if it's worth picking up I Love Lucy seasons 7-9 (which is how the DVD release is titled), here's a chance to sample the show.

Thanks I'll be sure to avoid this channel like the plague.

It's a digital subchannel on broadcast tv. Currently, it's not available in the Washington, DC area. They show sitcoms, dramas, westerns. etc., from the CBS/Paramount/Viacom and Fox libraries, and monster movies from Universal on the weekends. Here's a list of their current programs.

I occasionally tuned MeTV in using my large satellite dish and then found out it was recently added as a subchannel to my local OTA independent station that is also carrying AntennaTV. The combination of the two is nice for those who miss the previous incarnation of TVLand before it rebranded itself and went Hot in Cleveland and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on us.

It's a moomoo - Happy Birthday Lucy
