I stopped about halfway though. They're just showing way too many scenes and I figured even if they didn't show any major spoilers, it's best to go in without knowing anything at all.

As far as the trailer though it's looking damn good if you ask me . I wonder how many more seasons the show is going to continue on. Not that I don't enjoy it but I had always kinda imagined that it'd go 5 or 6 seasons at most.

So I read that there is a four minute recap of seasons 1-5 before the episode but they don't show any footage of Rita! Supposedly they would have needed Julie Benz's permission but she says they never asked her. Maybe they would have had to pay her something, but it seems kinda lame. I wonder if they show Doakes, Trinity or any of the other characters no longer on the show.

Ordered Showtime for $10 a month a few days ago. Looking forward to this and Homeland this Sunday.

It's a Screen Actors Guild thing. Anytime you use an actor's likeness whether or not they are still on the show, they need to get paid residuals.

I just watched the first episode as well and I'm not sure how I feel about Colin Hanks being one of the villains this season (this was revealed back in May). I guess he fits the profile of "never would have suspected that guy" type serial killer.
Speaking of Hanks, how has this guy not had a bigger career? As the son of one of Hollywood's biggest stars you'd think he'd have roles offered to him on a silver platter. Not sure if he has other interests outside of acting or it's because no one thinks he's any good.

I have to also get it out that I'm just not a huge fan of Batista. I think David Zayas was so much better in "Oz".

Anyway good first episode though, glad Dexter is back.

Really you couldn't wait 3 more days to watch this in HD on on your TV Sunday? (Yeah I know some of you are poor and can't afford Showtime) You had to jump to the Torrent streams on your computer. Now your going to be waiting 2 weeks for the next episode.
