I was really thinking they were setting up Max to be the guy who was involved in Michael's burn, since he seemed reluctant to look into it. That ending pretty much threw that theory out the window.

Definitely didn't see that coming. I liked Max and thought he would be helpful to the team on some of their other jobs ala Barry and Sugar.

I think either Max is not dead and it was a setup he was involved in, or something else is going on there. How much do you want to bet that Max has no wife.

I liked Max and was upset they killed him off. I too think Max has no wife. The way his final scene with Michael played out, it felt as if his "wife" is code for something else.

The case was a mixed bag (as anything "hacking" based tends to be on anything) but I enjoyed the episode as a whole, sad to see Max go.

The case was okay for me, did like seeing Barry. The final 5 minutes were awesome. Did not expect that, looking forward to seeing where it goes.
My guess is Max is really dead, and I do think the wife part was a code for Michael, however he did mention having a wife earlier in the episode while talking about Siberia, so we'll see.
