Not bad. I'm liking the direction so far. Looks like they're going to bring Nancy into Doug's office, which should hopefully make her character interesting again. I enjoyed Silas playing his mom like that.

I can only assume Doug was hired because he's a good racket ball player? Pretty typical for an office

I think it was softball, not racketball.
I don't think they tried to hide the fact that they hired Doug as a ringer. They mentioned softball 3 or 4 times - so I'm not sure if Doug figured it out yet or not. I'll be pissed if he didn't know and only figured it out in a future episode. I lost count of how many shows did this type of storyline (ie. hired a ringer).

I have a feeling they brought Doug in to use him as a patsy for some sort of scheme they have going there. It's sad that it's the most interesting storyline on the show this season.

And Doug was a fairly successful Accountant.
Nobody can say Mary-Louise Parker isn't doing her part to bring eyeballs to the show. Changing clothes in view of the camera? A potty shot where the camera is full frontal as she lowers her panties, then sits on the toilet? Jeez.
