I'm not even halfway through and this is already the best episode of the season.

I forgot the New New York police force wore Nintendo Power Gloves. That and the awesome 3D gag.

That episode is going to go down as a classic. Hilarious from start to finish.

Yep. Definitely funnier than the previous episodes. Any episode with Roberto in it, usually is.

Not exactly timely....wasn't Minority Report something like 10 years ago? But very funny. Definitely the best of the current set of eps so far.

But by their time it was like 1010 years ago. As long as it's a sci fi reference, I don't think the show really needs to be that timely.

A dingus reference too, led to this episode being better than most.

So many little jokes in the background of this one. Check out the high scores on "Delivery Command".

I've really enjoyed all the new episodes this go around. Especially the one where Bender replicated himself.
I've got a guy at work saying "Hold on to your dookie, it's about to get spooky!" LOL

The Blu-ray was released fairly recently so it's not quite as dated as that. I watched it last week in fact and still think it's a pretty enjoyable flick.

Re: Futurama -- "Law and Oracle" -- 7/07/11

Why do people question the timeliness of references in comedies? I'll never understand that. It's part of the culture, it can be referenced at any time. Did anyone question the episode where the Planet Express ship basically turned into HAL from 2001? "OMG, how timely...didn't 2001 come out like 30 years ago?!!1!"

People are always giving The Simpsons grief about this kind of thing. I don't get it. What's next, a Hitchcock reference? That'll blow their minds.

The only cartoon that is timely is South Park because they turn around the shows in a week.

Re: Futurama -- "Law and Oracle" -- 7/07/11

FYI:

This episode has references to Tron (1982), Minority Report (2001), and Avatar (2009), and most of the Police Academy films (except IV) among numorous other ones that are miniscule.
