Looks pretty badass. FYI, this is actually season 2 for the folks in the UK. However, Cinemax is branding this as an original new series.
I actually have Cinemax right now and I've been dying for a serialized action drama like this since 24 ended.

Here's the original story when the show was originally ordered:

This is a co-production with Cinemax and Sky1
I like that they brought in Spotnitz as a writer/producer as well.

Edit: I just read the international rights to "Season 1" are owned by BBC Worldwide. If it does air in the U.S., it would probably be on BBC America. Cinemax co-financed this season and is branding it as their own production, so I don't know if they would allow season 1 to air in the U.S.

Very odd. I'll check Amazon UK and see if they have the 1st season on DVD

It looks like one of those shitty direct-to-dvd action movies. I might check out the first episode.

The first season of the show pretty much sucked. I was forced to watch it because my ex was a huge Richard Armitage fan but we both laughed at how lousy it was. They tried really hard to do an American Style action drama, but it just came off as cheesy and forced.

I actually enjoyed it quite alot. I thought it done the action well and the storylines were not that bad.
I was expecting action like they had in "Ultimate Force" but it was better handled.
Season 2 starts here in the UK in August and i'm quite looking forward to it.
