It looks like episode 13 will be saved for the Fall.

:thumbsup: This was probably the most surprising show of the year. I'm glad ABC is giving it another shot in the Fall and a better timeslot after Modern Family.

FYI, if you missed this the 1st time around, ABC is re-airing it starting next Wednesday at 1030pm with the Pilot.

Love this show, but it's going to be strange only having one episode this week. Especially since they're saving the 13th for next season :lol:

Should be a nice change from the out-of-continuity weak-sauce of last week's.

Scheduling. Didn't have time to air it. Sweeps ends this week. Plus, Cougar Town is a 1 hour episode tonight.

The original plan was to only air 8 of the 13 and save 5 for the Fall, but the show was doing well so they doubled up a few weeks.

Seriously, ABC's treatment of the show is a really crazy 180 - from "let's dump most (but not all) of this thing 2 episodes at a time in a weird timeslot" to "let's give it the prime post-Modern Family timeslot next season".

I hope its clumsy handling this season doesn't hurt its chances next year - this show has really grown on me.

Me too. It's got great pacing, funny characters, and memorable zingers in each episode.

Brad and Jane at first were rather awkward-looking as a couple, but further eps proved they have chemistry after all.

Is Max the first-ever gay slacker character on TV? He seems to be designed to go against the stereotype of what TV portrays, so, correct me if I'm wrong.

Love Penny too, as always.

Definitely hope it sticks around for a while.

I think the problem is when they started out they were lukewarm on the show, as they made more episodes and saw what kind of show it was becoming they did a turn around on it. Explains the weird episode ordering, and the renewing of the series despite low ratings.

To me it's like a mix of Friends and Community. And that actually isn't a bad thing.

I love that Max isn't the stereotypical gay character.

I'm still not convinced that Brad and Jane have any chemistry at all.

Caught up on the episodes and, yes, this is an awesome show. I love Max and Penny - especially Penny. And I love how random the show is.

Why are they not airing it after Modern Family in reruns? -ohbfrank-

I've actually laughed at this show more than any this season - including Modern Family. Sometimes I'd have to pause it because I was laughing so hard.

Yeah really love this show, and glad its getting some love next year... Only issue is that Alex & Dave storyline resemble what my ex and I are currently going through.

I'm definitely happy this show is as good as it is. Specially for Casey Wilson. She got treated horribly when SNL let her go and they had no idea how funny she actually is.

I like the character too, I wasn't saying the fact that he was against stereotype was a bad thing.

I thought the "Mice Tyson" moment (From "Like Father, Like Gun" episode) was proof that Brad and Jane were both dorks, therefore perfect for one another.

hilarious episode. Cuthbert looked great. Shershow wasn't as annoying as I thought he would be. Great character/actor.
