Or at least put his Viagra supply under a restraining order.

Is it too late to vote for Tom Jones?

The Drudge Report had the correct winner announced at 6pm est.

Knew he would win for months, but I wanted Casey, Haley or James to win.

The country boy is going to do well...

Re: American Idol -- Season Finale -- Top 2 Compete -- May 24/25

Well, I guess that was totally expected. I was hoping for an upset, but congratulations to Alfred E. Neuman for winning American Idol 2011.

I probably watched 45 minutes of the overbloated 127 minute finale.

Pia looked damn good. Both in that white dress for the Born this way ensemble and in the red dress when the girls sang with Beyonce. I hope she's working with song good song writers and producers. I will probably pick up her album as she was one of my favorite female vocalists.

at the Born this way ensemble in the beginning.

Did anyone think the Carrie/Lauren duet was a little odd? 1st of all, the wardrobe both of them wore was really strange. Carrie wore shorts and some weird sparkly top and Lauren wore black tights under a black skirt/dress. I also thought Lauren sounded really rough at the beginning of the song.

The Marc Anthony/J-Lo performance was also kind of strange. Didn't expect her just to prance around the stage shaking her ass. But, damn Sheila E. rocked it on the drums.

I stopped watching. Did he actually improve in the last few weeks or did Lauren get worse?

No. But the important thing is that what he lacked in talent, he made up for in continually remembering to wiggle his eyebrows for the camera. THAT'S a truly deserving champ. Now let's see him figure out how to get his goofball routine into audio only.

For me, this was the first AI finale I actively avoided. Through all the unsuccessful winners and failed albums, this has got to be the show's low point.

I don't know. This article focuses on how many in country radio don't like Scotty:

I haven't watched last night yet and only might FF through a couple of performances. Just don't care enough.

You have your priorities all screwed up here. You need to hope her career crashes and burns and that she turns to porn or Playboy.

For those of you who complained the last few weeks and hated this final 2.

Ratings were actually up from the Lee DeWyze/Crystal Bowersox finale last season

9.2 in the demos....Up 12%

29.3M viewers....Up 21%

Idol isn't going anywhere. I have to wonder X-Factor can pull these kind of numbers in the Fall.

I always like these finales because they're so over the top. But really, we get TWO Beyonce songs and some Marc Anthony whetever-it-was. But Steven Tyler only gets to do a truncated 90 second version of Dream On?

It will be interesting to see if he & J-Lo return next year.

She's being produced by, and no I didn't make this name up, Rodney Jerkins.

He's also responsible for Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery.

I figured when she was booted she would have no problem landing a record deal as if she won the thing. Turns out that was about right.

It was sad to see Mark (from SYTYCD) fall off the cliff with Gaga... he was so talented.

I thought it was the best duet of the night. And, I loved what Carrie wore. She looked sharp.

I have no doubt that X-Factor will be huge. Look at all the attention it garnered with Susan Boyle and it didn't even air here.

She's scary skinny. Little chicken legs ... does nothing for me.

I know who Rodney Jerkins is. He's produced alot of top R&B acts over the last 10-15 years. He's a top notch R&B producer, if Pia wants to go into that direction.

I wasn't expecting her to wear some fancy evening dress. Personally for me, I would have rather seen Carrie wear a nice top and mini skirt. But, I'm no stylist. The shorts were a little weird, but she still looks good.

Mike Fisher of the Nashville Predators is one lucky SOB.

Lauren started a little rough, but I thought she did an admirable job keeping up with the music and matching vocals with Carrie.

Seems to me Scotty might have a career like that of Taylor Hicks.

Susan was on Britain's Got Talent.

And I agree with whoever said Carrie's legs were too thin. She could stand to gain another 5-10 pounds, I think.

Leona Lewis was the big well known winner from the UK X-Factor season 3. She's released 2 albums which both went multi-platinum.

Re: American Idol -- Season Finale -- Top 2 Compete -- May 24/25

Got to actually watch the episode last night. I'm not Scotty's biggest fan but I really liked his celebration, very genuine. But man, that first single of his is awful.

And man on man did Pia look smoking hot every time she was on stage. Damn you Mark Ballas.

James and Judas Priest was great. I like that Casey and Jack Black sang Fat Bottom Girls but I can't stand Jack Black so I fast forwarded most of it. Haley and Tony Bennett was cool and made me wonder why Haley didn't win this damn thing. Steven Tyler doing Dream On was awesome but I thought it was stupid we only got two minutes of it. And where was Aerosmith?

I heard on the radio that Dancing with the Stars beat out AI? That tells you how sucky this final is.

They announced a new tour a few weeks ago to take place in the fall so the feud must not be that bad.

Well you tend to put differences aside when money is on the line.
