So the President's wife IS an alien.

I've watched every episode and I'd watch next season if it were still around, but at the moment when they're chasing an alien hell bent on releasing a virus that'll destroy the world and decide to yell out "freeze", I was resigned to the cancellation. This show was born under a bad sign or something. It just had to do/say stupid things every episode. Unnecessarily so. Why yell "Freeze!" ? It added nothing to the episode, and was just stupid.

Portal a whole planet? That was some portal.

Its like they watched the Transformers episode when Megatron brought Cybertron into Earth's orbit.

I'm sure they could use the teleporter on Earth to move the new planet to another location.

They let Heroes meander around pointlessly for four years. At least the people behind "The Event" seemed to have a plan in effect and knew what they were doing from one episode to the next.

Not a perfect series, but I would liked to have seen it continue.

Sort of reminded me of "2010" (wait, that was last year).

Enjoyed it and I like how there's still a wonder about the Event, even though it's pushing the idea of what Leila and Sean's kid will become, with the insinuation of a "re-birth" and that it would probably be the first second generation child of the two beings.

If more seasons meant laser gun battles, I'll be pissed at NBC!

Or a tv movie slot. It shows respect towards &/or some kind of covenant between the loyal viewers and the broadcaster if The Powers That Be commit to a more satisfying plot resolution.

I can't speak for all viewers, but my personal experience is that I wouldn't have made it this far if NOT for the hiatus. I definitely would have given up watching this show slightly before the halfway point.

Definitely. And it seems it was more than the Moon -- it looked about the same size as the Earth. And it seems to be positioned inside the Moon's orbit so it's way too close. Even if gravitational and tidal forces didn't tear the Earth apart, Planet X would inevitably crash into us. I suspect they were going to teleport it away once their people were transported here.

I too will say that I thought this show was just hitting its stride and I'm disappointed it's gone.
