Did they know the Bin Laden joke was in there before they ran the "Mice & Jazz" episode?? Between that and the 10-yr-old 'Bin Laden has Farty Pants' episode of South Park on Com Cent. earlier this evening, it's either intentional or it's awkward coincidences.
Both eps were good, but I especially liked the hipster jokes in the second episode of the evening.

I'm assuming the Dave of the Dead episode was actually the real 2nd episode of the series, since they've previously had him wearing the "Steak Me Home Tonight" shirt and even shown him at the food truck. I was all confused at the start of the episode since I thought from the beginning of the show that that was where he worked.
Aside from that, both of the episodes were awesome. I think the Of Mice one was maybe even my favorite yet.

Another good episode. Again, Penny makes the episode. I still feel like Elisha Cuthbert is completely underwritten, but she was the only one who looked good during the end credits jazz dance sequence.
Still have to watch Dave of the Dead, but this is definitely the best new show of the season.
Edit: Yeah, something definitely is aired out of order. Don't know Dave of the Dead was meant to be the second episode or if the one that showed Dave in his food truck was meant to be aired even later, but despite that, it's still a good episode. I like Penny dating the hipster.
Gary the Polish neighbor who came over and cooked perogies.

Tonight's episodes were episodes 6 and 9. 7 and 10 air next week, then 11 and 12, followed by 8. The final episode hasn't been scheduled yet. (Cougar Town is having an hour long finale, so no doubles on this show on the 25th).

Both episodes were great. Penny has totally become the highlight of the show.
Penny in slow motion: "I'm deflecting bullets"
at Jane stabbing Penny.
And damn, Jane has killer legs.
Brad and Max had some funny banter going in the 1st episode. Max calling Brad a "Gay-cist"
I liked the little Bob Fossee All that Jazz routine that she led at the end.
I also enjoyed Dave's antics in the 1st and 2nd episode. I loved how really stupid his idea was, but he just kept going along with it until he was shot down by the restaurant investor.
at Penny dancing to "I'm too sexy" in front of the hipsters.

I agree. Alex is probably the weakest character on the show. I feel like Jane and Penny carry the show from the female end and Alex is just the 3rd wheel.

Both episodes were great.
Right as the guy chained up his bike, I was like "hipster!" hahaha
When Penny was trying out all the hipster clothes, and then they challenged her not to dance to Get Down On It - her face and body motion was hilarious.
The Jazz Kwon Do was hilarious, especially the end when they all did it. Cuthbert looked all serious and in the zone while doing it.
excellent show!

In that case, why can't they just have her in a string bikini all the time? Because so far, the biggest thing she's done was give Dave the engagement ring back. And this is from a show that started with her running out on him at their wedding. She's got more there, the writers just haven't figured out what to do with her yet.

Well, after ratings jumped last week, they were down this week.
1.7 at 10pm and 1.4 at 10:30pm. It got hurt by a new episode of Law and Order SVU.

It had to have been intentional. Did you notice how, right after he says the part about the hot girl he knew in college named Bin Laden, he says something else -- but the audio is missing. They obviously did a last-minute edit in light of recent events. Anybody out there good at lip-reading? I'm dying of curiosity about what he said!

Btw, a bar in my neighborhood played some scenes from 'Bin Laden has Farty Pants' (the part where Cartman is parodying Bugs Bunny), back to back with 'Ding Dong the Witch is Dead' from the Wizard of Oz. I'd hazard a guess Comedy Central's programming choice for South Park was deliberate, too.

I also like the shower part where he had to count, turn, duck, etc...hahaha, and then the rust coming out of the water. I just lost it. This show is too funny.

Wow! We may never know unless this gets a DVD release and someone does an audio commentary explaining it. I could NOT read that, and CC was no help!
I'll take a wild guess and say it's along the lines of "I eventually found her and shot her eyes out".
It was an intentional Bin Laden joke, but they obviously didn't bargain for his killing to happen the week of the airing, so, it forced them to awkwardly edit the joke to avoid controversy. Bummer, but there were a lot of people that didn't like jokes being made soon after he was killed.

In the pilot, when the "Stay grounded" chick said she wanted to either "run for office" (I forgot what it was, and I can't cross-reference because I deleted the episode on my DVR) or star on a reality show (that part I remembered) and Alex said "Wow! Those are things!", I thought that was a great response.
