Organized crime is running scared now.

I hope Liam makes it out okay.

Gibbons is a pig. I hope he gets roasted!

 to another great ep.

 Awesome episode!!

 at Teresa saying that OT has been approved for all the "Beat Coppers"

Liam was awesome in this episode. I loved how cool he was undercover with Killean. Killean is turning out to be a nice additonal villain. -eek- at the scene where he killed the bought off juror.

I also appreciated more backstory into Wysocki. The flashback that showed his brother killed....I assume that was Vonda's father?

Alright, and I will be the 1st to say this, but damn Devin Kelley is pretty smoking hot. I actually think her and Isaac becoming a couple works. They have nice chemistry. at the little sting operation with Isaac's car.

I like this show alot and hope it gets another season to flesh out these characters. It's amazing also how much better the episodes are with Delroy Lindo. Gibbons was really slimey in this episode...especially making his assistant show off her panties after he got pissed off. His conversation with Killean in the open was great and showed what a really great villain he is.

Teresa has got her hands full now taking down Gibbons and now the Irish Mob. I hope Liam makes it out okay.

Yes. This was, I believed, told previously in Vonda's own voice over describing her history with the force and her uncle.

I'm thinking his "lock the door" order right after that implied much more than showing panties was about to happen...

Great episode but was I the only one getting pissed that they kept meeting with the undercover cop in broad daylight? And they keep saying they are worried about protecting him...

awesome episode. I claim this my favorite one so far.

Lots of undercover material, just like I wanted. Gibbons and his corrupt behavior. Excellent!

Killean seems like a badass villain too. Worthy of 24..haha

I think this show deserves a least one Emmy.

I really, really thought with they way they were headed that they were going to kill off Liam. Great episode.

That bothered me a little too. For someone who is supposedly in deep cover, Liam is putting himself in high risk. How does he know that he's not being monitored by Gibbons or Killean's people? Now he's meeting with Teresa and Wysocki practically all the time in broad daylight.

He may still be killed off. It's something I wouldn't put past Ryan to do. Especially with all that Liam's witnessed and is the key to Teresa's case against Gibbons.

That city official was an idiot to call Killean from his office phone. Did he learn nothing from Governor Blago?

Great episode. Seems to me they should have leaned on Killean to get to Gibbons and Wahl, since they had him on first degree murder. Still, I loved the undercover plot, especially the scene where they juxtaposed Wysocki's flashbacks to Liam being cornered. I do think Liam will meet a bad end.

As for "coppers", the technical advisor for the show (who's also a Chicago PD detective) tweeted on Shawn Ryan's twitter page:

Beat coppers is very 2011. It is used daily on the streets and within the CPD. Refers to uniformed officers.

One would HOPE that would put this issue to rest in these threads, but I somehow sincerely doubt it.

That's what I thought too. I mean, if you've got someone on first degree murder, that's pretty much as bad as it can get. He would definitely be looking to cut a deal on that charge, and I'm sure he'd have no problem implicating Gibbons and producing evidence for them.

Along the lakeshore bike path at the bottom of the stairs of the planetarium where people are always walking by (unless a film crew has it blocked off) ;)
