Synopsis:

Spoiler:
An oversized inmate is poisoned and his coffin is used as a "Trojan Horse" for two inmates to escape the confines of Cayuga Correctional Facility. One prisoner is out for revenge, and the other is expecting a big payday that will allow him to finally have his picture-perfect life. Meanwhile, Ray dangles a tantalizing carrot in front of the team: among Erica, Shea, and Lloyd, whoever proves to be the most useful on this case will be the proud recipient of a tasty steak dinner.

Episode 8 of 13

Can't believe we're already at episode 8. This show has been great so far, mainly due to the dialogue.

Agreed. Really enjoying this show, especially when it's on. Nice capper to the weekend.

Another great episode. I appreciate how they're primary focus is on the characters and humanity, and they use the cases more as a backdrop.

Lloyd: "Shocker, you give it to the person with the most boobs."

Ad yeah, Lloyd eating the fake steak was great.

Definitely another solid episode. It's not my favorite show on TV, but it's fun to watch. Can't believe that a network or two passed on this one. I hope A&E keeps it going. Good chemistry with a good cast.

This show is reliably entertaining each week. Love the cast interaction.

Even in that un-sexy windbreaker they dress her in, Erica is sexy as hell.

 Lloyd was 1st rate in this episode. Also loved him eating the fake steak.

I'm still waiting for him to finally make a move in Jules.

Interesting that the 2 cons went through that huge escape, murdering people just so one of them could get revenge on the guy who made him his prison bitch.

I was curious to see if they would bring back Charlie's heart issue and I was glad they brought it back in this episode. The shootout in the drug store was intense.

It was only FOX that passed on the show. I'm actually glad the show landed on cable instead of FOX. They have a little more room creatively with language and violence.

Anyone know how this show is doing ratings-wise? I'm not sure what's considered a hit for A&E, but I hope this qualifies. I don't think they've had much luck w/ their original programming thus far, though I may be forgetting (last A&E show I watched was The Beast).

I think it was getting over 2 million viewers per episode, which by A&E standards, is a hit for them.

A&E's last original show was The Glades and that got over 3M viewers a week and will return this summer.

This show is hovering around 2M a week. No news yet on a 2nd season.
