I had no idea Season 2 was on DVD. I have the first season and used to have Season 7. I see that Season 2 just came out this year and is manufactured on demand by Amazon on DVD-R. That was an excellent season. Apparently Season 2 doesn't have any bonus features, unlike the other 2 seasons on DVD. The racer commentaries is what made those seasons worth keeping.

I'm in the "Luke's a baby" camp...but that challenge, the amount of time he was there, and the amount of tea he drank were INSANE. It looked like he was down to the last 5 or 6 cups. I know the other teams drank a lot of the cups, but go back to look at how many tea cups were left as the Globetrotters left. Then factor that into how few cups there were when Luke finally got it. I'm guessing he drank somewhere around 100 cups of tea. I think that justifies the breakdown he had.

Flight Time and Luke must have terrible palates and/or sense of smell and/or sense of color. It seems that at the very least you could eliminate the wrong teas as you drank them.
It was pretty cool of the guys in the tea room to cheer Luke on.

During the "previously on..." recap, they showed Jaime humping the dinosaur again!
CBS cares.

The was a great leg. I know most of you find Mallory annoying, but I love her. I like that she and her Dad are so nice to everyone and have such a positive attitude in the game.
at her reaction when they won $1M Rupees.
Honestly that tea tasting challenge was like finding a needle in a hay stack. A day had passed since they sampled the tea in China and drinking some water, maybe having juice or soda on the plane to India, I think my memory/taste of the tea would be long gone.
I know Luke is a total Momma's boy, but I don't want to make fun of the guy. You could really see how frustrated he was and it really affected him since he thought he was letting his mother down.
A question for those familiar with deaf people. I see that Luke cannot speak a single word. I've seen deaf people that can actually speak and articulate themselves really well. Luke only mumbles and groans. Does he fall into the 100% deaf where he cannot hear a thing or speak and has to use sign language fulltime?

A few people have commented on the headline being mean, etc. Seems pretty accurate to me.

Was I the only asshole thinking, "shouldn't Luke's other senses be heightened?"
Seriously though, definitely rooting for Gary and Mallory. They have a positive attitude but are not annoying about it.
And yeah, I wanted to see how long it would take for Kisha and Jen to find the clue under the bottle cap. I was laughing, even though it was probably the sort of thing I would do.

I love Mallory. She was the fourth runner up for Miss America in 2010, and her talent was singing. See the video below. She's definitely gained weight since the pageant, but she still looks great to me.

And for those who think his mom is a rockstar, I disagree. Her parenting helped make him the way he is. Sure she was tough with him *this* time, but only because she probably had to listen to him whine about how he gave up last time

I was really hoping this episode would end with 7 teams checked in and Kisha and Jen wandering around India looking for the Snapple factory.
Also, when you lose one of your senses (hearing, let's say), aren't the other senses (including taste) supposed to be heightened to compensate?

Why the hell does Mallory have that thick ass accent in the clip? Its not like that on the show
Glad Luke and Mom are gone. Now get rid of the goths next and the race will be perfect. Im going for Cowboys, Globetrotters, Zev and Dustin final 3.
