Awesome ending with Blake and Kahlinda. Solid episode all around IMO.

This show is so amazing, especially for a procedural.

This is one of the most consistent dramas on TV. Great episode.

So, drug dealer killed the wife who was threatening to take his kids away - who could have seen that one coming?

The reveal at the end was powerful, even though they had hinted at some relationship between Kalinda and Peter before.

I am not currently into this show but my parents like it and I have only heard positive things about it. I know that Tony and Ridley Scott are producers, so that alone gets me interested .

Could someone give a synopsis of it in a nutshell that won't necessitate wading through back logs of eps? Thanks!

Yes I thought they did hint at this kind of relationship once when Kalinda was visiting Peter in prison early last season. But BAM the reveal at the end! and made more powerful with the preceding scene of Kalinda/Alicia bonding over tequila.

"The Florrick kids really love black people"
"You kids are evil!!" rotfl

Also loved the phone chat between Cary & Alicia towards the end.

Even though this show is technically a "Procedural", it has alot of serialized arcs in it, so I don't recommend jumping in right now. I think you should rent season 1 and then possibly try to catch re-airs of it this summer to get yourself ready for season 3.

The Good Wife Wikipedia Page has a good breakdown on what the show is about and character profiles:

I appreciated the "twist" end because it wasn't contrived bullshit like most other twists can be - it was very natural and believable, while still being relatively surprising, which is a rare thing.

Yeah, that was a nice bit of humanity.

Awesome episode, but by the time I caught up to it on DVR the reveal had been spoiled by EW. :(

Not getting the significance of episode title...

Alicia mentioned in the episode that the District Attorney could indict a ham sandwich if he/she wanted to. That phrase has been used in every lawyer show for that last 20 years.

Gotcha, thanks! I don't watch a lot of them myself. :)
