As juvenile and obvious as some of the Buy More/BM jokes were, my wife and I laughed throughout the entire B plot.

Bout time the Ellie/computer storyline kicked in. Agent X - hmmmmmm.

I liked the crossover of the two stories when Casey found "Kevin Bacon" in the ducts.

Looking forward to finding out about what was going on at the end with Ellie.

"We can always make another BM."

I must say while I enjoyed the scene with Ellie confronting Lester and Jeff about the lost laptop before, I am now as equally tired of them as the other characters seem to be.

Yes but I think they have been used just right as of late, i.e. a tiny bit here a tiny bit there. Even though they had a fair bit going on at the Buy More J&L really didn't do much.

Kinda weird how they have gone cold turkey on the whole wedding bit, that's 2 full eps with nothing wedding related and I am kinda surprised about that.

2 weeks until another ep unfortunately.

Loved last nights episode. Everything was right about it. A great secondary plot at the Buy More. Chuck was his goofy but ultimately effective self. That crying chick was hot. Zach Levy has the best job in the world

it was against Dancing with the D List's premiere.

I really thought it was an entertaining episode.

Apparently I'm in the minority, but this was probably the worst episode of the season for me. I hated the Buy More antics more than usual this week, and was totally disengaged with the Agatha Christie nonsense in Castle. The writers really missed a cheap 'when pigs fly' joke, too.

Obvious foreshadowing in the episode that Ellie will end up with an Intersect in her head, and be the second agent like Chuck the government is looking for by the end of the season.

So you watched one random episode towards the end of a serialized show's 4th season and you didn't like it? Imagine that...

-rolleyes-

 Why the hell would you start watching on episode 19 of season 4? Chuck is a pretty heavily serialized comedy action show. You need to go back to the beginning.

because i have no idea what the show is. it just happened to come on and i left the channel on. i heard it was good and i planned on getting season 1. i figured i would give it a look to see if it was worth buying.

For real? This is not the time of year to get that rating. Yikes!

Don't let this single episode scare you off. As a whole, the show is a lot of fun, so I would recommend picking up season 1.

And yet still... why would you considering popping in on a random episode of any serialized show to "see if it was worth buying"? Rarely would doing so provide you with an informed decision.

You know, no one has mentioned this but I found the numerous Subway product placements annoying (as well Chuck commenting on the minivan's features when he and Sarah borrowed it from the Awesomes before). I realize these are sustaining the show's production budget to a degree, but it is just going a little too far now.

I've always thought that the Subway plugs, while painfully obvious, are pretty funny at the same time. I suppose I like them because at the time of the 'Save Chuck' campaign (End of Season 1?), it was nice that think that anything could save the show, and I bought my share of subs on Monday nights.

The minivan scene was really forced, indeed, but White Collar is a worse offender with Ford cars, in my opinion.

With this being the weakest lineup of dancers I was hoping for a more solid showing for Chuck. And yes it was a good episode, and yes it wouldn't make any sense if this was the first one you saw.

I have loved every single episode of Chuck so far but at the 30 minute mark of this episode I was starting to feel let down. The last 30 minutes more than made up for it.

because like i said i didnt know anything about the show. i had no idea it was serialized. i just heard it was funny. what i saw the plot was stupid and the jokes were bad.

and really whats the big deal about checking out a serialized show in the middle of it? people start watching soaps all the time and have to figure out whats going on. hell i remember when lost was on people here started watching a season or 3 in and liked it. if a show is interesting or funny it should be able to stand up on its own at least a little bit.

I laugh every time they do a Subway plug. Everyone involved obviously knows it's ridiculous, but hey...if it keeps the show on the air I'll laugh right along with them. Same thing with the minivan...I just chuckled.

It's when shows like 24 do it that I roll my eyes, because it's all taken way too seriously.

+1, they do it in a funny very obvious way.

What was the minivan bit? I missed it..
