Yeah, I didn't care for it either. They emulated reality shows way too closely. So besides absolutely hating any and all reality shows, the format emulated in this episode in and of itself, fake or not, was just plain annoying.

My guess is that most viewers of 30 Rock haven't seen the kind of show they were parodying here. I know I haven't (aside from clips on The Soup).

I agree. They did a good job in parody but I did not want to watch a real housewives spoof for 21 minutes.

Next week Will Arnett returns so that should make up for this episode.

Clever episode, but didn't find it as laugh-out-loud funny as several of the others (with the exception of Jack's scenes).

Yeah, Jack was funny, but the overall format didn't really work for me. First time I've ever thought about turning off 30 Rock and not finishing an episode. :(

I'm guessing the Tracy-went-to-Africa storyline is due to his kidney transplant back in December? He probably won't be in this week's episode, either.

I haven't seen any. When the show started, I actually said "What the fuck is this shit?!" and double checked the TV guide. It took me about 30 seconds before I realized what was going on. D'OH!

I thought the episode was just okay. That would have been a funny 5 or 10 minute segment, but the joke just went on too long.

I haven't. I know of their existence, and I think that I know what happens on them, but I haven't seen a full episode of any.

Yeah, I'm on "Team Didn't Care for the Parody" wagon. I find Sheri Sheppard annoying and pretty unfunny. I did get a kick out of Jennas-side.com though. Look at her filmography page: "Hushed Rapings" a Lifetime original movie. Can't remember if they ever mentioned that on the show or not.

I thought this was hilarious. I hate those housewives shows, so to me, it was great how they were ripping on those shows. Jack was awesome, Jenna was good, and Sheri I actually love on this show, but detest on The View, where she's actually saying words that don't come from a well written script, i.e., her brain. I'm going to have to watch it again since I was laughing so hard at times. I also lost it when the dog got wine in the face, and when it threw it back!

The parts with Jenna and Jack were great, but I hope this is the one and only Queen of Jordan episode.
