Well, we have proof that Gwyneth Paltrow can't tango to save her life.

I liked this episode. I laughed at the ultra corny performance by Carl, Emma and the celibacy kids.

Glee has unfortunately been more miss than hit this year, and I'm really only fully committed to still watching b/c I like Heather Morris and the Brittany character, but then they pull out the Starland Vocal Band and totally redeem themselves.

That sequence was awesome.

Thought the Afternoon Delight joke worked better on Arrested Development.

Seemed After School special-y to me. Suddenly none of the kids know about sex?
Seemed like a good excuse to have Gweneth on.

Favorite line--
Emma: Ten-zee's for men-zee's.

Considering that nearly every main character is or has been:
  • On the Glee club
  • A cheerleader
  • On the football team
  • In the celibacy club
How do they have time to go to class? Maybe that explains why most of them are in their mid-to-late twenties.

So does anyone else think Salling's punishment for pursuing a solo career was having his character fawn over Lauren all season?

Actually laughed out loud several time.

I did think they were extremely heavy handed with the lesbian issue. I'm fairly new to this show so I'm not sure if they're always that heavy handed with homosexual issues. I would guess not because from what I've seen they've always had fun with the Santana/Brittany relationship.

Loved Brittany's stork story and the Afternoon Delight misunderstanding.

I've had enough of Puck lusting after that thing.

Re: Glee -- "Sexy" -- 3/08/11

In terms of handling homosexuality, this is probably the least heavy handed they've ever been.

At least they rather smartly left the "mechanics" up to the pamphlets.

I may have misheard, but did someone say at one point that most schools don't have sex ed?

I agree the Puck/Lauren thing is ridiculous, but most definitely not in a funny way.

I know consistency is unknown to this show but....

I was disappointed they basically hit the reset button with Emma. I thought she was growing with Carl. That was suppose to be a major part of what Will lost out on.

Wasn't Santana and Brit open in the past about their lezbo tendencies? Maybe I'm out of touch with kids today but I don't think there are many schools where being lez for show is really cool but having genuine lez feelings could lead to being a social outcast?

I have no idea what's going on in Quinn's head.

But nobody on Glee is related!

first ep I watched this season and it just seemed creepy to me. Paltrow's character was just weird.

The whole thing with her singing and lap dancing on the wheelchair kid was just too odd.

I don't really enjoy the snow as much anymore. The sexuality is way to heavy handed and is becoming the focus. The Puck storyline is absolutely ridiculous. There is no way in real life he would be pursuing someone who looked like that.

It's funny, because for all their attempts at tolerance-teaching storylines this is the one that feels the most forced to me. It's like "Well, we've already covered homosexuality, disabilities, race, and religion... what's left? Oh, yeah! Overweight people!"

It's not just overweight but ugly, inside and out.

I thought this show was a family show?
Seems it's heading like 90210 was in the 90's where it starts off family and then it goes off into the liberal point of view. Kinda sucks you in when your parents are not looking.

This show was never a family show. Have you ever even watched it before?

Is the first episode you've seen?

The other part of his post I like is where he implies that liberals are anti family.

I've given up on anything in this show being consistent and/or logical. I just enjoy the pretty people (mostly) being silly. It consistently makes me laugh and smile and a lot of network shows fail miserably in that department.
