This was easily the best episode of the series. Everything came together perfectly. Especially loved Lip's realization that they were better with Frank than with Monika and how Ian and Fiona reacted to their mother's return. Also really like what they are doing with the Foster kid - it's made Kevin and Veronica a lot more interesting.

Yikes. That picture is horrible!

This show just jumps from comedy to drama so quick, but it usually does it well and this episode shows why.

When the social worker started talking I lost it.

Great, great episode. And that girl playing Debbie is awesome!

who's the actress who plays Monica (the mother), she looks real familiar.

This. The show really manages to make the jump seamlessly. The family breaking down when the mom threatened to take Liam away had me welling up. Great episode, but I don't want to see it turn into a full on drama. It needs to be mostly a comedy with some dramatic episodes thrown in.

Interesting episode. The camerawork felt different. It was really so shaky I literally got dizzy watching it.

Thought the same thing. I kept saying 'not Kelly Preston' from Twins. Looks like I was right. She was played by Chloe Webb.

Great episode by the way!

I could be wrong, but I think it was Julia Duffy who I remember from "Newhart".

Tales of the City's Chloe Webb ... Mona ... I certainly looked like her, but her imdb resume doesn't include 'Shameless' (nor for Julia Duffy for that matter).

Monica (Frank's ex-wife) is played by Choe Webb... Julia Duffy played Steve's mom.

That was Julia Duffy? I thought it was Rachel Harris!

I thought this episode was awesome. And I had thought it was only going to be Emmy Rossum's sex scenes that would keep me coming back...

I really liked this episode.

I've been having a mini-marathon on my DVR with Shameless, and it is really unique.

Love the girl that plays Lil' Debbie like many of you.
