Lots of good lines in this episode. I even enjoyed the throwaway line about cousin Jessica.

I didn't watch the episode so sorry if this was talked about, but hasn't Marge's hair been gray for years?

yes in Season 5's "Secrets of a Successful Marriage" Homer revealed that Marge uses blue hair dye #56 and has been "gray as a mule" since she was 17.

I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of *snort snort* magic hair or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.

I also really liked the Bart, Lisa and Maggie hair gag. "Head, Head, Head, Hair... Where's the border!?!"

I highly doubt that would happen. Over the last few years, The Simpsons have contradicted previously established continuity several times, including things like how/when Marge and Homer met and the situations surrounding the kid's being born.

That stuff's a much bigger deal than whether Marge dies her hair or not, and no one was fired for those mistakes.

Seeing as we are unfamiliar with sarcasm, I shall close the register at this point.

From Season 8's "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show

Genius At Work: "In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort of a [the three nerds chuckle] magic xylophone or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder."

Man, have the Simpsons been on for so long that the magic xylophone bit has been forgotten?

Oh, I was unaware that sarcasm translated well through text. Also, sorry I forgot one throw away line from an episode that aired 14 years ago. -ptth-

From Season 7's "Marge Be Not Proud"

Comic Book Guy: [sighs] Allow me to summarize the proposed transaction: You wish to purchase Bonestorm for 99 cents. Net profit to me, negative $59.

[opens cash register] Oh, oh please, take my $59. I don't want it. It's yours.

[Bart reaches for cash register]

Comic Book Guy: It seems we are unfamiliar with sarcasm. I shall close the register at this point and state that 99 cents is the rental price.

Well, to tell you the truth, I do really like The Simpsons (At least Seasons 1-12, although I don't hate the later ones, just don't like them as much) I just don't re-watch them that often.

That and I don't remember every line from every episode.

I haven't watched The Simpsons in probably 10 years or maybe even more. I used to love it and still do enjoy the older episodes but it just lost it at some point in the past in my eyes and I never got back into it.

Anyway, I got the xylophone one right away but the Bonestorm one went over my head, but I remembered it as soon as he explained it. In my opinion either one was a classic Simpson line, but good ones nonetheless.

Most fans of The Simpsons remember that line. It's one of the most classic lines from the show.

Also, "A Wizard did it."

So nobody else caught the line at the very end when Marge asked Homer if he colored his hair too, in which he replied:

"Only my Hair Dresser knows for sure" as he leans toward the camera and you can see his 2 hairs are blue. I'm sure that would not be noticeable if not in HD.
