This is easily one of the best things on tv right now.

The one thing I'm really interested in is that it is a 12 episode season. They've pretty much just reshot the UK original episode for episode so far and there were only 7 or 8 episodes in their first season so it should be fun to see where they go with it.

Just seems like they'd continue into the UKs second season...it already has 8 seasons on them so it's not they need to try and maintain a distance or anything.

I've liked this show, but found this episode to be a pretty stark drop in quality. I'm finding that it's quickly becoming repetitive and would be terribly easy to parody. Sprinkle in some frantic handheld cam of the kids running around the kitchen eating outrageous combinations of cheap food, and the neighbors and/or the car thief hopping into their home without knocking and swirling around in the mix... then by midway through the show the lovable poor folks (and isn't there something a little condescending about how these very wealthy TV producers romanticize poverty?) all band together to defraud "The man" yet again to save a few pennies. Getting old already.

I agree that the quality of this episode wasn't on par with the past episodes (which is too bad because the show got better with each episode before) but I don't think it's become repetitive at all.

I'm still in.
