Mega Python vs. Gatoroid (aka Debbie Gibson vs. Tiffany)
Another super cheesy mutant animal flick from SyFy.
Campy fun, but certainly not a good movie.
Gibson, looking positively skeletal, is a nutty environmentalist who releases pythons into the Everglades. Of course, they become a nuisance and start eating nameless extras. One of the victims is the fiance of Sheriff Tiffany, plump & attractive here. She goes a little nuts herself and feeds experimental steroids to the gator population to balance out nature. Funny bit where she wonders, "What could possibly go wrong?"
Six months later, the gators vary in size from city buses to brontosauruses, and lay thousands of eggs together. You would think they'd be noticed before becoming a problem, but no.
There's not a lot of VERSUS going on, as the gators and pythons seem to be more interested in teaming up to wreak havoc on the Everglades, and then Miami. Nobody seems to live in this Miami though. Not enough budget.
The special effects were anything but special. Some parts looked as if they were drawn on with crayon. Couple of good shots during the Miami scene, like a snake laying on the railroad tracks with its mouth open so the train can ride right in with ease. Or a snake biting a blimp, then going for a ride when the blimp deflates like a balloon.
Neither Gibson or Tiffany are decent actresses, but they both seemed to be having a lot of fun. There were a couple of quick references to their old songs, and an extended catfight. Only A. Martinez seems to be taking this whole thing seriously.
Mickie Dolenz from The Monkees makes an appearance as himself...
The end...

Yes, that was the catfight. There seemed to be a lot of breast grabbing, and Gibson even smears some cake or whatever in Tiffany's cleavage.

This thread is kind of late, the movie premiered last weekend. That catfight was pretty cool to watch. Then Joel Mchale did an awesome job making fun of this on The Soup.

Was this the name of the movie Clair and Phil were going to watch on Modern Family a couple of weeks back?

I must have missed Tiffany growing gigantic boobs, but I'm not complaining.
Must have been too covered up by jean jackets back in the day.
