Good point. Definitely not every time, but some of the time at least.

No, it's actually Jerry.

What's funny is that Parks And Recreation and The Office both started off with a shaky first season then really hit their stride in the second season. Parks And Recreation is off to a good start in the third season so far, hopefully it continues for the rest of the season.
I agree that Parks was better than Modern Family last year. I actually would rank Party Down Season 2 ahead of both, though.

I hope Rob Lowe and that other new guy don't fuck up the mojo.

Maybe I'm missing something, I like the show and the characters but it's rarely hilarious to me.
The Office 2nd season is one of my top 5 favorite seasons of tv.

Loved this episode and the show. Glad it did well.

Now you show an image from the show with no real explanation.

So either your original post was referencing that episode, which seems highly unlikely given the way your first post comes across.

OR

The joke in that image, that people can't be bothered to spell his first or last name correctly, went over your head.

I recently started to watch this show and like it. Rob Lowe is a great addition to the cast.

Family Guy does the same thing (intentional or unintentional) when they shit on Meg every episode. I wonder if this will be a thing with sitcoms, where there's a character who's always treated like dirt... much like many sitcoms have a moron, a pervert, a straight-laced character, etc.

I was sure Rob Lowe would hurt the show, but so far his character doesn't really bother me. He's kinda funny in his always-positive attitude and his constant stating of other people's names (ie. "Anne Perkins!"). I hope this doesn't get old quick.

Also, I didn't think much of her when the series started, but I'm finding Rashida Jones cuter as the series goes on.

Adam Scott is fantastic. If you haven't seen the show Party Down (R.I.P.) you're missing out. Scott was the lead and was fantastic. He's very funny.

I love the addition of these two.

I never noticed the misspelling of Jerry's name on the telethon show. I agree it was probably done to show how everyone picks on Jerry. The only time Jerry wasn't picked on was in the hunting episode, I thought Leslie and the others could have easily blamed Jerry for shooting Ron but they didn't.
