Some parts of this ep were really intense (the act of skinning, the fight at the church, the chick fight) and others were really cheesy (ch-ch-ch-changes, the dialog, anything with Scott Wolf).
But still, I like it and I will continue watching.
Next ep is in two weeks... stupid State of the Union Address.

Finally the resistance tried to resist the Visitors. Even if they only saved one girl. By season 7 they might finally fight back on a regular basis.
Glad they are finally adding personel to the resistance
Looks like in 2 weeks Diana starts being more active which has to be a good thing

Much much better; still very cliched but a big improvement on the increase in action vs lack of melodrama.
Do think that it was a bit lame that the thing they've been doing since last season, the multiple needle pricking, is now being explained as looking for something they had no clue of before.

Huge improvement over last week's episode.
I'm still not really in love with the "Human Soul" thing that Anna is obsessed with. However, this episode advanced the plot more and there was a good cat fight between Erica and Malik.
The skinning scene of Malik with Hobbes and Ryan doing the dirty work was brutal. You could tell from the camera shots they had to keep cutting away from the human flesh being ripped off to avoid getting in trouble with network censors.
I'm not sure I get what Ryan is doing. It appears that he's playing both sides, but I'm sure they will reveal otherwise. And what is the deal with the dungeon that Diana is sitting in?

Here's ABC's letter to V fans for why episodes not being available online. Some of the comments/outrage are hilarious.
One comment had someone saying how he's semi-homeless and has no DVR and online is the only way he can watch. Yet, he can afford to pay for a high speed internet connection and watch TV online?

The skinning was intense. And the CGI with the lizard teeth was more believable this week than last week when Anna ate the rat.
I also like how the two mothers are switching children.
I just wish they weren't doing the whole "capture the human soul" thing. I'm sure it sounded great in planning, but it's just kinda stupid...especially how a few days after Anna came up with the idea, they built a machine that likely does exactly that...even though they don't know what the soul is...

Why didn't they skin her, record it and put it on the web? The visitors are the only ones down with using the interwebs?

The machine looked to be different than the needles one from before... so I guess they were using the humans for something else prior to finding out about "soul?"
I now realize why I liked the last episode... no Tyler. This one had only a little bit of Tyler, but even that grated on my nerves.
How deep are they going to go with this terrorist dynamic? On the one hand, they need to keep things relatively black and white so that the audience knows who to cheer for. On the other hand, while the priest agonizes over human lives being lost, they have no problem torturing and killing Vs, chopping off their fingers, etc. I mean, no hesitation. There was no guarantee that she even had any useful information.
What was Malik's role in the FBI? I was unclear about that, the guy in the van was the one identifying victims, was it only so that they could make them officially disappear? If so, that seems like a waste for a deep undercover agent in the FBI. I realize this is all to move the plot along, but again, why have her go to the scene herself when you can get any number of regular Vs who would not be compromising their status by being there? And why does Erica not mind being paired up with one of the FBI's most wanted terrorists in broad daylight? At least the mentioned that Chad was able to deduce her connection to the priest because, you know, she's always there in the parish.
How dumb is it that Chad caught the instigator flashing his reptilian eyes, when nobody else in the general population has ever seen even a hint of their alien nature? How dumb is it that Tyler saw exactly what happened, with the priest trying to calm the violence down, then goes along with editing his film down to give a false impression? And then that scene where, guns trained on him, the guy calmly eats a disintegration pellet.
No way was Wolf the target of the first attack.
I thought there were supposed to be a lot of 5th columnist rebels. That's what Ryan told Joshua before, that they had the manpower. Now they're so desperate for bodies that they this makeshift terrorist organization is their only hope? What was the point of getting that message out in the first season?
Was Supergirl starting to enjoy the killing, and that's what scared her? I couldn't tell for sure.
As for the "revealing the Visitors to the world" part, they've mentioned before that they don't want to do that because then the V's would just eradicate them. At the very least, use it as a tool to recruit, though...

During the skinning scene, I heard Ryan mention the V's can only live about 30 minutes in their true form without the human tissue. So I guess we won't see them anytime soon...at least alive.

I took what Ryan said to mean that once the human tissue has been applied, they can only live about 30 minutes if skinned. But, Vs aren't born with human tissue; they apply it themselves. We know that because we saw Ryan's kid in lizard form, albeit it sort of obscured, and someone asked Anna why they gave the baby human skin. So we might see an alive V without human skin at some point.

LOL, it's one thing when a show is dumb, but when a show is dumb AND the writers talk down to the audience as much as these writers do, it's hilarious. After the guy kidnaps the girl, he has to look directly at the camera so his eyes can flash. OH I SEE, HE'S A V. And they've got to show the church instigator's eyes flash because they can't expect the audience to put it together even with Anna spelling it out explicitly a few minutes later.
More terrible writing: "We've got to disguise our scent"--by blowing up the apartment. Brilliant.
This show is too hilariously awful not to watch.
