Was surprised to see a new episode airing this week (last week's felt like a season finale). Makes sense now.

Hate it when they do that, but makes sense why they made The League a double last week, and last week did seem more finale-esque.

I was always annoyed that this wasn't available on Netflix, so I'll be glad to have a chance to check it out.

I'm glad to see that they'll be airing this, albeit censored. The DVD is always high-price whenever I have seen it, and was only able to get it for $5 once Hollywood Video went out of business.

Yeah, the Christmas DVD is wildly overpriced, so I haven't picked it up yet. Too bad I've been buying the seasons as they come out, as this morning a friend forwarded me this BestBuy.com deal:

Seasons 1-5 plus the Christmas special for $40 shipped

The kid version of Mac was spot on. He looked exactly what I would picture Mac as a kid.

And at the sight of Frank coming out of that couch.

Quick question. Is this best watched after season 5 when it came out, after season 6 when it aired, or does it matter?

Pretty much doesn't matter, it came out towards the end of season five, so I'd just watch it after that finale.

It's probably best watched around Christmas.

It's better after Season 6. Season 6 was so incredibly not It's Always Sunny that this episode is a plesant reminder of why there's a rabid following for the show to begin with.
