Synopsis:

Spoiler:
With the grand prize within reach, the final two chefs take center stage in a heated battle to prove to Chef Ramsay that they deserve a head chef position at LA Market at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE and the opportunity to be the official spokesperson for Rosemount Estate Wines. In the conclusion of the most combative season of HELL'S KITCHEN to date, Chef Ramsay challenges the contestants to construct and fine-tune a stunning five-course meal to be judged by the most distinguished figures in the Los Angeles food community, including Tim Leiweke, President and CEO of AEG; Joachim Splichal, Executive Chef of Patina Group; David Myers, Executive Chef and Owner of Sona; David Lefevre, Executive Chef of Water Grill; and Kerry Simon, owner of LA Market. As they prepare for the most important dinner service of their lives, the final two chefs are greeted by special guests in HELL'S KITCHEN, but just as the chefs hit their stride, the helpers become more of a hindrance. After weathering tough challenges and Chef Ramsay's searing critiques all season long, one door will open a world of opportunity for the winner on the season finale.

Last episode of the season.....Thank God!! For those of you who hung in there through this miserable season, pat yourself on the back.

Though Nona was a pretty weak finalist, and didnt like her much, glad Russel didnt win. He was way too arrogant and a jerk

Russell was such an ass, so glad he didn't win. I would love to see all of his "confession" interview after the results, it seems like he went off on everybody.

I had it DVR'd and just watched it. As others have said, glad Russell lost. I wonder if any potential employers watched the show and figure he might be too much of a PITA to hire. That would be funny.

This season has ruined the show for me. I stopped early on and I don't think I'll be watching any future seasons. Too bad they couldn't have ended it with no one winning.

I've not seen the other seasons so I actually enjoyed watching. Like everyone else, I learned to hate Russell fast, and his final comment on his team was hilarious. Way to score points. With the girls team winning so many competitions over the guys, it would have been a stretch to give the win to Russell.
So why was this season so bad compared to past ones? Were the chefs better?

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- Season Finale -- "2 Chefs Compete" -- 12/15/10

^^ Yes

I was pretty ho-hum on Nona winning.

I think people in this who watch/did watch are just tired of the same old predictable formula the show uses every single season. And it didn't help that this was the least likeable cast of the show ever. Plus, Season 7 and 8 ran back to back (7 ran this past summer), so I think there is a little Hell's Kitchen burnout.

 I figured that noone gave a shit when 9pm rolled around and noone voted in the poll.

At least in the previous seasons, a few of the contestants were actually competent. This group ws just horrible, nobody deserved that job.

Russel is just a despicable human being. His comment about black balling his team at the end was so laughable. His parents must be so proud.

He must have some powerful connections.
I enjoy thinking about how shocked Russell felt when his door was locked. It must be a mistake.

They should be honest about the fact these people never actually get the job. Oh well....I guess they actually get the $250,000?

Yeah all the people were incredibly weak. But Russel was just disgusting. I doubt anyone would hire him with his refererring to all the girls as bitches. Really overused.

Nona was laughably inept for most of the season, and Russell was a complete douchebag. What a pathetic bunch to pick from.

So the 7 month Hell's Kitchen marathon comes to a close. So when does the next season start? January 5th? ;)

Don't give a s***. Watching to be a completist, but this season sucks so hard.

Weak bunch to choose from this year, but between the final two Nona was the best choice. Russell seems like the type who will kill himself or his family at some point because he lost.

You know what would be great. If both doors were locked and no one wins for the first time on Hell's Kitchen. But that would never happen on that show.

Enjoy washing those dishes Nona, that is all you will be allowed to do in any of Ramsay's real kitchens
