Has a person ever played themselves and actually revealed as the killer?

Or being directly involved in the crime, for any series?

Re: Has a person ever played themselves and actually revealed as the killer?

For example, Willie Nelson was on an episode of Monk, playing himself, and was a suspect in a murder. He was later exonerated. Now, from that situation, has there been a similar one, except that the guest star (playing themselves) actually killed someone on the show (or otherwise participated in a crime, etc).

OJ has played himself on TV before... but not as a killer. That was as close as I could get.

I feel like this situation may have happened on Las Vegas, but I could be wrong.

He wasn't playing himself, but Johny Cash played a successful singer/murderer in an episode of Columbo.

That's a "big" joke that has not aged well at all in an otherwise very funny movie.

Yes.

Jean Claude Van Damme played himself on an episode of Las Vegas in which he was murdered.

At the end, the credits included the message (roughly quoted): "No Jean Claude Van Dammes were harmed in the filming of this episode."

Heat Vision and Jack (1999) with Ron Silver is close.

It's only a single pilot episode, never aired but easy to find online.

Ron Silver is Himself, he's the bad guy but I don't think he kills anyone, tries though.

The premise of JVCD has Van Damme playing himself and robbing a bank.

Spoiler:
...or does it?
