Episode 10 of 22 |
Re: Outsourced -- "Homesick to my stomach" -- 12/02/10
Well, I missed the last episode since I didn't watch The Office or It's Always Sunny live, but I'm back this week. So Todd and the Aussie are dating now?
Not sure what the consensus was of the last episode, but I'm pretty disappointed that thus far we've spent about 8 minutes on Todd having a bad reaction to Indian food. And reading the synopsis, it seems as though it's going to continue for the rest of the episode. Great... |
Re: Outsourced -- "Homesick to my stomach" -- 12/02/10
Manmeet: ""You're not in Kansas anymore, Todd.""
Madhri: "Are there any Indians in American Football?" Todd: "I don't think so." Todd: "Oooh what a hit. Here comes the medical staff." Gupta: "There are the Indians!" I know I probably sound like a broken record, but this episode reinforced that Todd is the worst part of the show. Rajiv as manager was awesome. That said, I don't know if it would've worked with him that strict for the entire season. Still, anything would be better than Todd. If when this show moves to 10:30 it conflicts with anything else I'm watching at the time, I'm done with it. It's not must-see TV for me at all; when I miss an episode I don't find it on Hulu or elsewhere to catch up, but just wait until the next time it's on. It's really a shame too because the Indian cast members are quite talented. They're all funny in different ways and have great comedic timing. It's too bad dragTodd and the poor writing drags them down. |

I must be the only person that finds Todd to not be a complete tool

He doesn't bother me, either. I think the show is fine as it is.

Two somewhat odd things in this episode, both copyright-related:
1) No NFL jerseys pictured. Understandable. 2) They "acquired" the football game to watch after the fact. Realistic, but I don't remember seeing that kind of thing being hinted at on TV, for obvious reasons. "Hey America, did you know you could download the very product you are now watching?" |

 at everybody whacking Rajiv to kill the cockroach, and Gupta coming at him with the cricket bat.
I actually liked Todd this episode. The Todd/Asha thing was the weakest part of the show; I'm glad they dropped it (for now, at least). |
