Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Only four chefs remain, and the pressure is on for each contestant to prove to Chef Ramsay that he or she has the chops to move forward in the competition. In a challenge designed to test the chefs' ability to identify key ingredients and rely on their palate, Chef Ramsay asks the contestants to recreate a brilliant dish using only sight, smell and taste. The chef who most accurately replicates the dish and displays a keen ability to discern flavors earns a relaxing day at the spa. For the rest of the contestants, it's laundry day at HELL'S KITCHEN, and they are left behind to prep, iron and starch tablecloths and chef jackets for dinner service. Much to Chef Ramsay's delight, the contestants find their groove in the kitchen and host the smoothest dinner service to date. The chefs surely step up their game in the kitchen, but things heat up in a dramatic elimination round in the all-new "4 Chefs Compete" episode.

 It's almost over!! Thank God!! 2 more episodes left after tonight for this awful season. They better cast some good people for next season.

I figure with Top Chef All-Stars premiering tonight, this will probably not get watched right away for those who follow both.

Agreed, this season has sucked. I don't expect a format change for next season, but please at least bring in some good people.

I've been watching this mostly on Hulu. I've seen a few episodes of past seasons. This group seems to particularly get under Ramsey's skin judging from how often people have been kicked out and they really come across as incompetent even this late in the game. Will one of these 4 REALLY become head chef of that new restaurant or can Ramsey just say F all of you, you suck. Can that happen or is there some contractual agreement there has to be a winner?

I've read in other threads that even though past season winners may obtain a title at the restaurant (specific to each season), in reality it's more of a name only. That is, they may work at such-and-such restaurant but not really as "Head Chef" or whatever. I suspect this season will be the same.

This season almost turned me off on the entire series. I'm no chef, but these are the weakest group yet.

Russell just comes off as a despicable human being.

Another so-so episode....this has been a long season. Feels like it should have been over a long time ago.

I was actually excited at the start of this season as it was all chefs. There wasn't anyone that worked in a restaurant but not in the kitchen, or a nanny/home cook or a recently graduated culinary student. Apparently though, the experience they should all have went to Cleveland while they got on a plane to L.A.
