I would have thought dugpa.com or twinpeaksgazzette.com would have a list but they don't. There were too many for me to remember without going frame by frame. Glad to see Julee Cruise sang the theme song though.

I loved the Log Lady and Shawn and Gus' reaction.

"I was gonna say...!"
"Yeah, that would've gone TOO far!"

No love for Robin Lively? She looked pretty good too.

not the 2nd part (that is obvious), but how you were given this golden opportunity.

My favorite "easter eggs" were the golf book by "Earl Windom" and the cameo by Waldo. :)

Great episode, especially for twin peaks fans. Hilarious... I also loved that the only show the town watches is Everwood. I still miss that show ;)

And Shawn immediately switched over to Everwood references. :)

I'm not a Psych fan but I watched this for the homage. Really fun show!!

Knew they were gonna get some really good obscure references in when they alluded to the silent drape runners.

So  to Psych.

Recently there was a thread with someone bemoaning the long openings of HBO shows. Watch the Twin Peaks credits than ran longer than two minutes on network TV. Great credits like these get you in the mood for something interesting to happen.

It's not a terribly exciting story. My friend reps her for convention appearances and I met up with him at a Hollywood Collector's Show where they were doing a TP reunion of sorts. Sherilyn was leaving and needed someone to walk her out so fans (a few of whom were acting crazy/obsessive while she was at her table) wouldn't stop her every 5 feet and bother her. So, I was enlisted. VERY sweet woman, and still a major piece of ass.

What Rich says below. Almost always a hit for me, or at least minor moments of brilliance that are better than entire highlight reels of most shows for me.

Yes. The show has its miss episodes, but it's mostly hit.

Probably the best Intro recreation yet though.

"Untimely death, a psychic and a black man all in the same day."
"Was Randy Jackson with you the night Paula died?"

You mention two of the things I love about the show. The variety in the opening song, and the fact that the quick fire references in their witty repartee means I miss several jokes per episode, catching them when you all mention them here or on repeat viewings.

Props for Julee Cruise singing the intro! She did almost all of the vocals on the show and I love her songs in the original Twin Peaks album!

Here's one from my own website. Nickee's link is pretty good, but they missed a few.

Pretty good. Too bad they didn't drop a reference to Horne Brothers Ice Cream.

Psych seems to be hitting a creative peak this season, a great bounce back from a lackluster Season 4 (minus the season 4 finale which was awesome).

But the early part of this season had a great stretch of shows, and they're 3 for 3 since coming back. Next week looks like they have a lot of great gags just sitting there waiting to be used, and then there's the finale which will finally complete the finale trilogy.

Basically if you're a child of the 80s, you'll probably enjoy this show. And you're getting a run right now that's as good as the show has ever been.

I am liking the different opening themes that they do for Psych. Really liked the tears for fears version; this episodes version was nice too. How are thet getting the money to do this?

I had to give props to this. I had never seen the show. This made me miss Twin Peaks even more. I used to re-watch Twin Peaks every year, but I have been lax over the last few years. This was put together with tremendous love and consideration. Glad to see people still appreciate the influence Twin Peaks had, even though ABC surely didn't.

Maybe not exciting, but very cool nonetheless. I used to work in radio, so I was never very starstruck. However, I think Lynch has an amazing way of selecting actors/actresses to be in his works. I just think it would be interesting to meet her because she does seem down to earth. I met Angelo Badalamenti and I could barely get a few words out. He was making the rounds with Booth from James to support their collaboration "Booth and the Bad Angel". He was extremely humble and kind. I used to meet some real "B" listers that thought they were gods gift to entertainment. Anyway, I'm still jealous, but glad you got the chance to meet one of the "good ones."

Anyone know if Dual Spires was watched by more people than usual for a Psych episode?

More than usual for this Fall (it was up 500,000 ppl from the previous week), it was about on par with what it pulls during the Summer.

This is slightly off-topic, but I think people who enjoyed "Dual Spires" will like the following ("Twin Beaks"):
