Boy that Bruno Mars, "I wanna marry you" song was very catchy. I spent most of Friday trying to get it out of my head.

This show is losing focus quickly. The whimsy of the pilot is long forgotten. I almost wish they WOULD do a Journey song.

Anyway, you can see what will happen a mile away - Kurt transfers, something happens with the club where they NEED Kurt (lose a member, someone can't perform), Kurt re-joins ND at the last second, saves the day, and then realizes that his place is at McKinley where he will lead a crusade of tolerance and acceptance. Cue Journey song.

Ep was mixed for me. I liked Burt's wedding. He had some really nice scenes and Finn did some growing up. I agree with some of the other thoughts. Kurt's bullying arc goes on for 6 episodes, but their folks go from dating to married in one ep? Sloppy. Sue's "wedding" was beyond ridiculous. Wish they had found a different vehicle for Carol Burnett. I did think her line about "I don't think you appreciate all the sacrifices I made to become a famous nazi hunter" was delivered beautifully and made me LOL. Their duet was a nice moment, also.

Yeah, Kurt transferring just seems like a cheap plot device to me. I'm sure he'll be back to McKinley in an episode or two. Maybe even in time to help them place at regionals next week. :P

Hell they could do a whole Journey THEME episode!

Kurt leaves so it starts out with Separate Ways (Worlds Apart), then toss in a Who's Cryin' Now and Lights as Kurt adjusts to life at his new school. The gang feels betrayed so we get a Lovin Touchin Squeezin number and when something beckons him back, so then we get the ever clever insertion of Open Arms from the McKinley gang. Then for the grand finale a rousing rendition of People and Places.

This episode was a mixed bag. It illustrated some of the best and worst Glee has to offer.

I know the bully threatened to kill Kurt and all, but was that a serious threat? I'm not saying he doesn't bully Kurt or that he shouldn't be punished, but the threat seemed more to me like when a kid says, "If you tell that I did x I'm going to kill you." Something to address, sure, but I don't think the bully was ever literally going to kill Kurt.

I'm just glad all of this Kurt stuff is resolved, at least for the moment. It's been dragging the show down. And it's so obvious that all of this was just a way to get Kurt to transfer, have some drama between him and his friends, then have him come back and save the day at some point.

Santana looked fantastic this episode.

Am I the only one that doesn't really buy into Sam's whole love for Quinn? It comes off as really inauthentic to me and I feel like he's just saying whatever it takes to get her into bed.

Sue's storyline was beyond ridiculous. Carol Burnett was totally wasted. I did like, however, that Sue took Kurt's bullying seriously and addressed it to the best of her ability.

Yeah, all of the wedding numbers were great. I'm actually surprised they did two Bruno Mars songs in the episode. Burt's speech was fantastic. I also really liked Finn's speech as well. The numbers were a lot of fun and I thought the songs sounded great. The dancing down the aisle has been done to death recently thanks to YouTube and The Office, but I'll give the show a pass on that since it seemed natural for them to do something along those lines, whether or not it had been done before.

Agreed. I think it would have played out much better to just have the wedding stuff spread out over a few episodes.

Future episode idea. Since this is supposed to be high school musicals, I'd like to see them do something from the musical "Li'l Abner." Finn would make an amazing lead.

Outdated? Maybe so but no more than "Singing In The Rain."

The episodes this season have just been so off-kilter. Last season had ridiculous drama and fun. Serious drama (aka the Kurt situation) just isn't needed in a world with Sue Sylvester, cheerleaders always in uniform, and The Beast.

Finally got around to watching this.

Listening to Sue go on about protecting Kurt made me laugh. Her character is the biggest bully on the show. It's basically her entire personality.

I loved this show the first half of season one. I think there's been a grand total of one episode this entire season I really enjoyed.

Did love the line about Will's not having turned on a radio since the 80s, though.
