not really a bad ep but geeeeeesh did they ever pile on the running cell phone ad vibe..
At the rate they are going I expect a future ep to end with a Microsoft phone being thrown at a bad guy in zoomed in slow motion and then some line about "Oh you bing'd him really good! BING!!!!" -rolleyes- randomness but wow, a few of those stunt guys on the bikes looked like they earned their coin.. I think one of them hit the concrete so hard he left a dent.. |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "HeiHei" -- 11/22/10
I didn't care for this episode at all. The whole plot with the Triathalon, Blood Doping, the Robbery and incorporating Dano's ex-wife was just a mess. Once McGarrett and Kono dived into the water to recover the van and then said all the money was still there, the episode lost me.
Oh well, moving on to the next episode. |
Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "HeiHei" -- 11/22/10
This one was pretty good. That they actually used their heads and did some actual detective work instead of guns was refreshing.

I'm just glad that they finally showed Danny's wife.

He was until the big Hawaiian dude sat on it. I'd probably give it up as well after that. I enjoyed this episode, but it seemed a little more on the dull side compared to, say, last weeks.

hey Danno, bad guys are more likely to listen to you if your gun has a magazine in it

Re: Hawaii Five-O -- "HeiHei" -- 11/22/10
Plot holes are really starting to rear their ugly heads on this show.
First of all, Danny entered and searched the house without a warrant, which means any evidence they found --- the map, etc. --- are inadmissible in court. Even though the governor gave them carte blanche, she can't suspend the U.S. Constitution. Second, 5-0 knew the gang was targeting businesses on the armored car's route, and that they had obtained pass codes for those businesses. How hard could it have been to notify those businesses that their security codes had been compromised and that they should be changed ASAP? I'm willing to overlook such things as long as they find a reason to get Grace Park into a bikini. |

Mediocre episode, but I loved the nod to Moonlight.

Rachel clearly implied to McGarret that she left Danny because of his job, while Danny believes she left him for money.
