If the trailer for this isn't completely misleading, I'm very excited for this.

Wow. I really was not expecting all these "red" episodes this season. Mind you, I'm not complaining! Certainly a cool way to kill Kirk Acevedo and still keep him on the show.

Missed last week's so I'm having a double-feature tonight!

Re: Fringe -- "The Abducted" -- 11/18/10

That was a great episode. Good mix of self contained case of the week and continuing the alternate universe arc. I enjoyed the Candyman storyline and the fact that it helped Liv and Alternate Broyles bond, especially in the end.

It was good to see Bubbles helping out Liv again. I have a question about Walternate's machine. So Liv gives herself the injection and hops in the tank and then is transported back to our universe. Why is her physical being still in the alternate universe? It looked to me that the effects of the transport were only temporary since Walternate's guys were able to yank her out of the tank. It was smart of her to relay that message to the janitor for Peter before she got sent back.

The next 2 weeks are going to be agonizing. Can't wait for the next episode.

You think THAT'S bad? I'm betting we get maybe 2 new episodes before a LONG winter hiatus...

I'm wishing I'd only watched last week's last night and not done a double feature now.

i think it may be that she's not completely crossed over so they are still able to pull her back to their reality.

Yeah...the cliffhanger leading up to the winter hiatus is no doubt going to be brutal in light of this season thus far.

Re: Fringe -- "The Abducted" -- 11/18/10

I always figured it would be Alt-Charlie that would end up helping Olivia. No matter what Alt-Broyles thinks of his Fauxlivia, I think he might now know that Olivia is fairly special.

It's funny, but I think we know more about Alt-Broyles than we do about Broyles.

Re: Fringe -- "The Abducted" -- 11/18/10

I want both Alt-Charlie and the dude that got burned to come over to "our" side. I think they're both good characters.

We don't know if Broyles is married or has children do we?

I'm going to miss the red episodes, they have been by far my favorite this season. I hate that I have to wait 2 weeks to see another red episode.

Charlie was always a decent character. I figured they got rid of him last year to get Peter more involved in the actual mystery solving. Bringing him over just creates that problem again (not that I thought it was a problem).

We've seen Broyles ex-wife before. It was season 2 I believe, the one where people were turned into ash.

Re: Fringe -- "The Abducted" -- 11/18/10

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere but it looks like Fox is moving Fringe into the Friday night death-slot (9 pm) starting in January. This is because American Idol will now be on Wed/Thurs.

Hope this isn't the beginning of the end for this show. It's become my fave scifi show in quite a while.

[edit] Just found the other thread discussing this -- but I'll leave this here.
