Futurama Holiday Spectacular! 11/21/10

More Futurama is always a good thing - and this was a nice sudden surprise I JUST heard about. So a heads up to set your DVRs for this Sunday!

The Planet Express crew learns the true meaning of Xmas, Robanukah, and Kwanzaa in this all-new special.

w00t! I'm going to have to watch the 11:02 showing, since I also have Top Gear USA to watch and Luther on BBCA to record. It's nice/crappy to have too much on one day - sorta like a mini-marathon all packed together.

The first few eps of the new season were a little ragged, but it ended with absolute brilliance, especially "The Prisoner of Benda", "The Late Philip J. Fry", and "Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences". Therefore, I expect nothing but sheer genius tonight.

It's the Albino Humping worm!

Why do they call it that?

Because it has no pigment.

I absolutely hated the episode. I think it was the juxtaposition of the Treehouse of Horror format with the Futurama characters that felt off to me. Anyway, I'm glad that others were able to enjoy it. :)

Futurama has been doing this for quite a while with their Anthology of Interest episodes. Doing it at Christmas reminded me of seemed like a good twist on that for me.

I readily admit to not being the biggest Futurama aficionado out there; I've mostly seen the episodes that I have because of the Bender head gift-set that my girlfriend's son is always watching. I must have missed the anthology episodes.

There were 2 Anthologies of Interest beforehand. The format isn't new.

I really enjoyed this episode. The Al Gore cameos were hilarious.
