"There's a Light" is typically a duet with an additional featured solo (sounds like Kurt as Riff Raff). Since the soundtrack has already been out in stores for a week, I don't see how saying that is a spoiler.

Am excited to see Sam as Rocky - but it looks like they have given his gold Speedos a matching top.

I may be the only one but not a fan of the Rocky Horror show, so I'm not that excited about this...

I've never seen Rocky Horror, but I know it has a cult following, so everything in tonight's episode is all new to me.

Another non-fan of Rocky Horror, frankly I just don't get it, but I usually enjoy the show even if I'm not into the theme/etc.

I've never seen RHPS. It has somehow escaped me all these years. At this point I doubt it could live up to the build up if I sat down to watch it.

I haven't either, until this afternoon. It's on Netflix streaming and all I can say is

"I don't get it."

Oh well, hope Glee is good tonight.

I've only seen Rocky Horror once and it was a long time ago. I get the cult appeal, but it's not something I plan on watching again. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to the Glee version.

Rocky Horror fan, but only touch and go with Glee. Will definitely be watching this one "live".

Surprised they're doing
Spoiler:
"Touch-a , Touch-a, Touch me,"
given its mature nature. Appropriate for the character though.

Rocky Horror really needs to be experienced in a theater with an audience. I'm jus' sayin'.

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

as much as i love this show, this is the first time i really thought they (Ryan Murphy and co.) are being irresponsible in portraying high school and high school kids as no self-respecting high school in America would perform The Rocky Horror Picture Show, especially with the #'s being performed on screen.

the risqueness of Britney Spears was all in dream sequences, but this is to be performed for other students and parents and i think no way this should happen.

they have been really good with so many great portrayals of adolescent life and the sheer variety of kids who dwell within, but to me, this particular show, is showing a high degree of irresponsibilty.

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

Can someone out east please spoil it and list the songs they did? I plan on watching and it won't spoil it to just know what is in and what's not, so I'm too curious to wait if I can get helped.

Told my wife this morning Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me would be in. Just seemed like a high school song.

I'm pretty sure they're going to leave out Whatever Happened To Saturday Night which is disappointing. But Meatloaf's version is perfect and I suppose one of the boys would butcher this.

I don't watch the show regularly, but I doubt any of them could handle that song. I'd still love to see it, but I say it won't be in.

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

as someone who doesn't watch that much I have to say that:
1) I have trouble buying in to twenty-somethings playing High School students. Don't know how many High School set series this means I need to avoid and

2) This show seems more about selling songs on ITunes now than being a... something neat and interesting. I don't think it's coincidence they don't do the full version of the songs on the show. I doubt that was the original intent.

Still fun.

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

So Will thought Rocky was better portrayed by a mature adult; specifically, a teacher. Really? So who did he think he would be singing "Touch-a me" to? And having Mercedes as Frank N Furter, singing that she made a man to relieve her tension? Knowing that it would be a teacher she would be singing about seems a little seedy.

I actually have to side 100% with Sue on this one...

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

I love Rocky Horror, and I thought the Glee cast did a good job with the songs, but for the most part this was a pretty weak episode, Sue was only the standout in terms of lines and substance, but largely there wasn't much plot wise - it all felt like a puff piece.

I have seen Sade videos that were more coherent and plausible than this episode. The only highlight was watching Heather Morris dancing.

Re: Glee -- "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" -- 10/26/10

Thought this was great! They called Will out on his idiocy, had fun with the material without doing something crazy like performing it with a real audience and everyone was featured in some way.

Plus, I love the Rocky Horror music (the movie is awful, the show is great though). They did a great job - I was smiling the whole time.

^ I think Rocky Horror fans will be let down by this ep., while Glee fans who dislike Rocky Horror will enjoy it.
