Re: South Park -- "Insheeption" -- 10/20/10

This episode fell totally flat to me with the exception of a couple throw-away gags. I couldn't even figure out what they were spoofing, Hoarders or Inception. I've never seen either which is probably why this episode sucked to me.

Yeah haven't seen Inception yet but wasn't the Billy reference to Flatliners?

The other doc doing the music from Inception whenever they explained the dream levels cracked me up every time

Hated the last 2 eps. Loved this one. The guy doing the 'background' made the ep for me.

Mackey to Stan - "Dont you throw that away! Ill rape you in the mouth!"

Thought this had alot of funny moments. Didnt expect to see Freddy in the dreams...although it does make perfect sense now that I think of it. The guy doing the Inception music had me laughing every time as well!

One of the best I have seen in along time. Fantastic show!

Will go down as one of my favorites. Hilarious stuff.

I don't know why some of you didn't like it. It was pure South Park.

I loved it. The toys in Mackey's room, Lite Bright, Zoom, Woodsy Owl, the background guy....excellent ep for me.

Do I need to watch "Inception" before seeing this episode?

Why is Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in the room hooked up to the dream equipment? Did I miss something?

Re: South Park -- "Insheeption" -- 10/20/10

I thought this was a terrible. They are completely in Family Guy territory now with every episode being a spoof of pop culture. It's not even a clever commentary like it used to be when they did it in the past. I actually think I'm done with this show and I've been there from the first episode.

Haven't seen Inception either, so I really didn't get it.

Re: South Park -- "Insheeption" -- 10/20/10

I had every one of those toys in Mackey's room (and watched Zoom... I even sang along with the SASE song).

What movie was the Freddy intro spoofing? I know I recognized it (even predicting the wife and kid coming out) but have no idea from where. I know it had to be some 80's Stallone or Arnold type movie.

COMMANDO, I think. The movie FIREFOX opens in a similar manner.

And Hasselbeck should have been replaced with Brett Farve.

Re: South Park -- "Insheeption" -- 10/20/10

Never saw the movie (and likely never will), so meh.

Although the Hoarders stuff was good and at Woodsie Owl being a child molester.

Haven't been too impressed with this season so far, but last season is tough to beat.

I loved the stuff with the sheep herder.

"But I'm a sheep herder!"

"It's pronounced hoarder."

"But I really am herding sheep!"

"Yes, you are hurting sheep by hoarding them."

I LOVED this episode. One of the best ever, but I am a little biased because I HATED Inception and agree with all the stuff they said about the movie in the episode. Just because soemthing is complicated to explain and you understand it doesn't make it "cool"

You're just not smart enough to understand it.

Re: South Park -- "Insheeption" -- 10/20/10

I don't really know what some of you guys expect. The show has been on the air for 14 years and is still pretty consistent with its funniness. I've thought all three episodes this half season have been good so far. Maybe not the best all time episodes but still very good and better than a lot of crap on television. Also to the person saying they're in Family Guy territory, what world do you live in?? South Park is much better than they are and have always done spoofs on pop culture, but only they actually do it well and make it into a story rather than just random stupid crap and flashbacks.

I thought this episode was funny but then I liked Inception. Its fine that they made fun of it though I still thought it was funny though and thought it was nice to see a mostly Stan episode.
