I, for one, am stubbornly sticking with the show. I may end up regretting it.

I'll keep watching for now, but they have to step it up soon.

Yes, but only because the kids like Ordinary Family and want to keep watching.

I may catch up on The Event based on what people are saying about the latest episodes. The first two sucked.

I think I'm done with this show. It's just boring, plain and simple. Oh, and I can't stand the son JJ. Where did they find that actor? He's terrible! I was laughing so hard at his emotional scene about how he gets no respect (or whatever he was saying) and that one tear starts to roll down his cheek. Ugh!

He is terrible....but I still like the show. I agree they need to get more action into the one hour to help keep the boredom from ruining this show.

Minor complaint, but I wish they would redesign the show's logo. It's so fucking boring. They couldn't afford their own typeface?

The JJ football storyline was beyond stupid. And I'm sick of his weekly whinefest about how his Dad doesn't believe in him. I wish they would just have the parents find out about his power already.

The rest of the show was enjoyable, though. The cashier calling Daphne's blackmail bluff was pretty funny.

I wish they would have an episode where the family uses their powers together, even if it's just two of them.

I really, really hope Chiklis beats the shit out of him when he finds out how JJ has been playing him.

just because you know the correct angle to throw a football, doesn't mean that fucking scrawny bitch has the required muscle mass to throw it that far. stupid.

Yeah, I was laughing when the kid was telling his sister "it's not about how strong or athletic you are, it's about math!" Wrong.

yeah the line was like "You don't have to be big or fast or strong to play football, it's really just math".. Then of course both teams were filled with what looks like linemen from a division one college team.. I almost expected Lawrence Taylor to pop out and tackle the Chaka kid like an old ep of Married with Children..

that being said, the CGI as to the "math" part of football was really well done..

I also like the girl being able to use her powers to gain an upper hand one some people, but still have her plans fall apart. Being that's keeping in line with what her parents are dealing with too..

show is still sort of hit or miss theme wise but I've mostly liked the eps I've seen.. One of those shows I don't mind watching but if it got canceled I would not really care..

Yeah, like the math part is going to make it hurt less when the QB is tackled almost every play.

Just watched this episode and I agree completely. How would he have the arm strength to do that?

They could have easily used basketball as the sport instead of football. Can use scenes with arc/trajectory/etc on shots/passes and it would be more believable. They definitely missed the boat on that storyline.
