I'm wondering when Cass will show back up. I'd still love to see him take on that Scarecrow demi-god for Halloween.

My problem with the premiere was I was looking foward to it hitting the ground running and instead the whole episode felt like a slow crawl.
Tonite's was a lot better. Especially liked the ending,

I was expecting Dean to come home and find out the Alpha had nailed Lisa while he was out.
Decent episode, I like the idea of exploring the origins of monsters if that's what they're going to do.
Can't wait for next week.

My only gripe, -its more of a pet peeve when it comes to shape-shifting, -is that when the shape-shifter attacks at the climax, he is able to swiftly change from one person's appearance to another ...including the actual clothes the person is wearing at the time (mind you, he had to swap clothes with his victim in the first half of the episode).

The one at the end is thought to be, essentially, the first one, so he is more powerful and I guess has more abilities.

Sam and Dean playing babysitter to the shapeshifter baby was pretty funny. Liked the scenes at the supermarket.
After a slow start last week, this was a pretty good episode. Sucks that David Paetkau from Flashpoint bit the dust, but not surprisingly since he's still contracted to do that show.
I wonder what direction they are going with Agent Skinner, Parker Lewis and the other chick. Agent Skinner was speaking to some mystery person on the phone.
Loved the final segment when Lisa gave Dean the thumbs up to do what he does best and he busted out the Chevy Impala with the rock music blasting. Now that is Supernatural.

Hello there Impala!
This episode was an improvement over the season premiere, but Gamble still hasn't found her footing as show runner. I'm not a fan of this extended family thing yet. Lisa and the kid are more interesting than some third cousins. But if things get better from here we'll be in good shape for the rest of the season.

Yep, very happy where things ended up. Glad that Dean flat out told Sam that he didn't trust the Campbell family. And for good reason, since we're still seeing that they are up to something. Trying to catch monsters? Hope they're not going in some sort of Buffy-Initiative (government conspiracy) type direction. Loved the Smoke on the Water sequence and seeing Dean bust out the Impala. Looking forward to next week!
