Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Emmy's fiancé (David Cross) shows up at Steve's estate and ruins Steve's plans to take Emmy and Puddle on a vacation.

Still need to watch episode 1 of this one too. Although I'm in no major hurry considering the mostly negative reaction last week.

Bad. Again.

Count me out.

Hmm, thought it was better then last week but I liked last weeks as well.

Not great, but I'm liking the offbeat humor of this - mainly because of the cast.

It amuses me, particularly when they say "Fa'ad".

"Come on!"
"Stop saying that."

The only chuckle of the night, and just like last week it was because of the reference to another show.

I didn't care for the pilot, but I thought this one was better.

I like Keri Russell, but I just don't think she's a very good comedic actress.

LOL second week in and only a few posts even in this thread. So sad! But I don't think this one's gonna make it.

I thought this episode was better. I enjoyed it and thought there were some good laughs. I won't mind sticking with this one, but I don't think it will last long.

I liked it. The whole "can't hear well under the tree" gag was a good excuse for some confusion-based humor, and David Cross was funny as always. But I can tell that the best jokes are going to come from Peter Serafinowicz as Fa'ad.

Yeah, I wonder if there's going to be an Arrested Development reference in every episode...?

I really want to like this show, and will probably keep watching, but I'm just not finding it very funny.

This is exactly how I feel. I get the idea that they want to be edgier and funnier, but they're trying to fit into this "family comedy" mode of some kind. Also, as much as I LOVE Keri Russell, I just don't think this is the show for her.

Oh, also, the opening credits are absolutely awful. Little cartoon bodies with big photo heads is never a good idea.

While I agreed with most people that the pilot of Raising Hope was better than Running Wilde, these second episodes swung completely in the opposite direction for me. I found this week's Running Wilde to be very funny. Whereas Raising Hope was...cute, but not really funny.

So, chalk me up in the minority, but to me, Running Wilde seems to be on the upswing. I still don't hold out too much hope that it's going to survive a full season, but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

For some reason, the whole "I have problems with my V's and B's" kept me in stitches.
