Firefly had an ending (not only the TV Show, but a Movie). My Generation, like Reunion from a few years ago, had a conclusion planned but was never filmed. If the show was already shot and in the can (like Persons Unknown and Harpers Island), at least fans got a proper conclusion to a show that has an obvious mystery and arc planned. But with My Generation, they were only filming episode 5 or 6 so anyone that watched the first two episodes will never get any type of closure, same with Lonestar. Other shows (Comedies and such), don't really need any type of conclusion, so if a show like Better With You gets puled this week, there is no mystery or anything that really pisses me off. Its exactly why I didn't bother with The Event, Chase, Flashforward etc. Chase is pretty much dead, and The Event might not be far behind if it keeps dropping.

Don't worry, next week we'll have a few more cancellations like The Whole Truth and Undercovers (unless ABC/NBC has nothing to plug the holes with, but they are not getting the back 9).

I think "The Event" will hang in there, at least for the fall season.

It's very expensive to produce, and it dropped already. NBC will no doubt keep it for atleast the 13 episodes it's committed to, but the back 9 is not certain. But with everything else on NBC dropping like a rock, It should last at least a whole season. Undercovers is dead. Chase is nearing death, Parenthood is even looking really grim... Oh, and Outlaw is dead. 1.0 last night. NBC entire Fall Season is likely to not be around next year, same with ABC.

The only shows that were up from last week were 30 Rock and...Chuck. Man that show is like a cockroach. Just can't kill it (and it's rating are higher then Undercovers).

People sure as hell knew what mp3s were in 2000. It was just stupid.

The reviews I've read have been abysmal. I have no interest in watching it but I hope it dies a quick death since it looks horrid.

I could understand a teacher not knowing what an mp3 was in 2000... still, it doesn't change how bad that line is.

Chase is actually a straight up procedural, so you could get away with watching that one without being invested in any big arc. The pilot was pretty awful though.
