Synopsis:



New Night and probably the most insane night of the week. Competing against Community and Bones at 8pm. This will easily take 1st place.

I just want to know why the hell this is marked as 31 minutes both this week and next week. It's making my DVR drop 30 Rock!!! :mad:

Yep. I hate that bullshit, since it's just more commercial time. I really wish 30R was at 9:30 - it would make things much easier.

I also wish DVRs would let you chop recordings by a minute (instead of having to do a manual record) like they let you extend them.

TiVo has Overlap Protection, which is exactly what you describe.

Yeah, I was thinking I could cut it off by a minute and thus get my 30 Rock back, but it won't let me. Thinking of sending a nasty email to CBS if it happens again the next week.

It's not just that you mean nothing to them -- it's that they're preventing you from watching 30 Rock, or at least making it less convenient. In a zero sum game, that's worth something to them.

I hate this scheduling move by CBS. If Community gets canned due to this move, I'll keep watching TBBT, but I will hold it against CBS by not watching any new shows of theirs.

Unless people decide they like 30 Rock so much that they'll skip The Big Bang Theory instead of having it cut into 30 Rock. A move like that could backfire when you're trying to muscle your way into a new night.

The people that matter (the ones not watching on a DVR) and like both are going to watch both. They'll either sacrifice the last minute of BBT or first of 30R.

As I understand their Monday ratings, I don't think CBS is too worried. We'll soon see if their confidence is warranted.

Ok this was a wonderful episode :lol:

I still hate Blossom's delivery in her scenes, but Penny being a slut made that scene awesome. Walowitz and the arm was predictable, but still hilarious. Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree :lol:

It is easy to overdo the Sheldon character. Sheldon + female Sheldon is a bit much for me ... I get it ... they are social awkward. I think it would be much more interesting to have him for some reason become interested in a girl like Penny or even that slutty scientist friend from last season.

I'm well aware of how much impact a single email will make on a corporation like CBS. :lol: Was just venting.

This is probably closer to what I'll actually do. Much as I like TBBT, I DON'T like being strong-armed just because I DVR my shows. If they keep it at 31 minutes, I'll be dropping TBBT and watching it online or something. :(
