I know, another damn Lawyer show! Not a fan of Jim Belushi because his fucking show According to Jim lasted longer than it should have. I do like Jerry O'Connell though and this appears to have a more comedic tone to it than most law procedurals, so I will try this.

Like Outlaw, I don't see alot of weekly discussion for this except an occassional episode if it lasts long enough, so 1 thread for this.

I was surprised. This was pretty good. It's somewhat light but the legal/trial aspect of it was quite strong between the strategy of including lesser charges and the discussion of jury instructions, which you almost never see in these type of shows. Plus, Natalie Zea.

Everytime I see a print or online ad for this show, they always look like Nip/Tuck.

I absolutely hated According to Jim and still can't believe that show lasted as long as it did.

That said, I liked this pilot. Jim and Jerry play well off each other.

The Jim and Jerry show apparently did really well last night.

12.1M viewers and 2.9 in the demos. Good start. Will have to watch this later today.

Kind of light on the law, which is good, but pretty damn funny. I only wanted to check it out b/c I'm a fan of Jerry O'Connell. Hope this gets picked up because he's an awesome guest on Stern.

They should figure out a way to do a crossover with this and CSI.

Actually that is very feasible. The showrunner for The Defenders is also a Producer on CSI and they are both produced by CBS. You never know...especially since CSI does 2-3 quirky episodes per year.

Finally watched it and really liked it. Not a huge fan of Belushi, and hate O'Connell, but was able to get around all of that to enjoy it.

That would suck. I figure some hot talent should come around though.

I'm really enjoying this show. It's fun, the cases are interesting, they get the law right, I like the characters, and it makes the prosecutors look like total assholes. It's all good.

Havin' a good time with it so far. It's easy to watch, light... slightly comedic with just the right amount of drama.

liked last night's episode. it was nice to see them actually "lose" a case, even though they proved the guy did not commit murder.

Since the Vegas casinos (that draw the whales) are mega-corporations now, probably would never see something like that anymore, but it was nonetheless a fun episode. I loved how he was so drunk, he fell on to the roulette wheel.

And the arson/murder case was pretty good too.

It's a really fun show that's pretty solid on the law....along with The Event, one of my new favorites.

First ep since CBS shit on it and moved it to Fridays despite winning its time slot on Wednesdays. Guess I'll try to enjoy it before CBS inevitably cans it. Another great shitfest on the prosecutors.

Really good episode. About time it made it back on television. How is a show suppose to maintain ratings if they are constantly moving them around and having long breaks in between episodes? I have always liked James Belushi in pretty much anything he has done over the years. Anyone here see Mr. Destiny or Taking Care Of Business?

I don't think the move to friday was CBS getting ready to give up on the show. I think it was more that American Idol was coming back and CBS saw it more as move and keep the viewers hopefully instead of staying and losing them to Idol without a doubt.

I love Belushi and this show. His character has the perfect mix of seriousness and comedy to provide enjoyment and the entire cast just works really well together.
