Really looking forward to season 2. Now with Quinn no longer being pregnant, I would love to see her become more involved with the stories. Even though she was a significant character in the 1st 13 episodes, I felt like they really didn't utilize her that much in the back 9 other than resolving her pregnancy. I'm especially looking forward to more Brittany and Santana now that they are both series regulars.

Really looking forward to it, but also really hoping the stunt casting doesn't get in the way of the story/music. As I'm sure most others are too.

laugh - but honestly those "cheesy" hooks are what got me watching this show in the first place, and honestly there is not realy that much "story" to this show to get in the way with.

Bring it on

Re: Glee -- "Audition" -- Season Premiere -- 9/21/10

I'm cautiously optimistic about Season Two.

All three new characters are actually pretty good.

I'm glad we have someone for Rachel to worry about and compete with, because none of the other characters really posed a vocal threat to her, although I still think Rachel has a better voice overall. Sunshine has a great voice and I like that her accent sort of sneaks in through her voice. Interesting that they switched her over to Vocal Adrenaline so soon, that should make for a decent competition. Rachel reverted back to her old self when Sunshine came into the picture. Her excuse of trying to protect the club was laughable and I liked how everyone saw right through it and basically laughed at her.

Really like Sam as well. Seems like a pretty earnest character and will make a good male addition to the team. Funny though that there's yet another guy who can out-sing Finn. Obviously he'll come around, but I'm glad he isn't on the team just yet. Thought it was pretty cheap to have him singing in the shower, just like Finn was, but on the other hand it was sort of interesting how Finn took the place of Will and discovered someone and was pushing for him to join Glee. Shows how the character has matured.

Coach Beiste is interesting as well. I like that they've already given her some depth; tough and serious, but intelligent and emotional. She could easily fall into a stereotype or cliche, but I think Glee will handle her well. I'm glad Will came around. Hopefully she proves to be an asset and lets Finn back on the team and helps Sam join Glee.

It was great to see Sue throwing kids out of the way for no reason again. She had a lot of great one-liners, as usual. lol @ the dog poop cookies. I loved how she chewed out Santana for getting a boob job, that was a good message to get across.

I like Hip Hop, but this rapping has got to stop, lol. Telephone and What I Did For Love were the best songs. I really did like Sam's parts of Billionaire though.

So while I liked this episode and thought it was a great premiere, I'm still worried because of what we know about some of the rest of the season, specifically the stunt casting and tribute episodes. I'll try and remain optimistic, but they just need to stop letting outside artists dictate what they are going to do in the show.

I agree with the rapping. Plus am I the only one that hates watching Artie sing? He makes the most annoying 'O' faces when he sings and it's so distracting! Great show so far otherwise!

I don't think that was so much autotune as it was digital manipulation. And yes, there's a difference.

Nice touch by the casting department by having a Filipino as part of this episode. I was in the Philippines a few months back and that country goes bananas for this show.

Good premiere tonight.

Her walking out of Figgins' office while hugging the bad touch doll had me howling.

Good ep. Coach Bieste and Sam are good additions. The Quinn vs Santana angle ought to be great. The Tina-Mike hookup felt strange, and poor Artie is out in the cold.

But having Rachel send Sunshine to a crackhouse was all kinds of wrong. Yes, Rachel is a selfish brat who makes everything about herself. But she wouldn't purposely cause anyone serious harm. I felt that they destroyed the character for no good reason. I didn't like that at all.

"The Indians sold Manhattan to George Washington for an upskirt photo of Betsey Ross." Jane Lynch is GOLD, dipped in DIAMONDS.

Puck: "Your mouth is huge. How many tennis balls can you fit in there?"

Sam: "I don't know. I've never had balls in my mouth. Have you had balls in your mouth?"

The one-liners tonight were on fire!

I've never noticed it before. It's clearly not in the same league as Curt's O-face, which is painful to watch.

I agree with all of this. The stunt casting is going to kill the momentum the finale and premier set up.
