Harold Gould --R.I.P. [1923-2010]

Harold Gould has passed away, the New York Times reports. The actor who died of prostate cancer was 86 years old.

Instantly recognizable, Emmy-winning character actor who predominantly worked in TV for 50 years appearing in sitcoms, TV movies and dramas of every genre. His IMDb page has almost 200 listings! Perhaps most known for his recurring roles on Rhoda (as Rhoda's father) and Golden Girls (as Rose's boyfriend). He also memorably played "Twist" in the Oscar-winning film The Sting.

I remember him most from his portrayal of the incredulous judge in Seems Like Old Times, and especially as the duel-happy Anton Inbedkov in Woody Allen's Love And Death. R.I.P.

The guy seemed ancient 40 years ago. Amazing he was 'only' 86.
