Synopsis:

Spoiler:
A spy returns to exact revenge on the clandestine agency that betrayed her after training her to be an assassin. In the pilot episode, Nikita (Maggie Q) emerges from three years of hiding to send a message to her former handlers at Division. Meanwhile, new recruit Alex begins her training at Division and discovers what the agency has planned for her future.

Been looking forward to this since they announced Maggie Q was in it. Been a fan of hers since she was making movies in Hong Kong.

If you miss it tonight - the premiere episode will be repeated on Friday night at 9:00 pm ET.
The second episode also gets a repeat - next Friday night - same time. Then no more repeats
since Supernatural returns Friday, Sept 24 at 9:00 pm ET.

I'll be watching - the Friday night version due to recording Vikings-Saints and Rookie Blue.
So I'm glad thats its being repeated - won't get stuck watching it online.

Never seen the film or original series. Maggie Q is the draw for me. I'll be tuning in.

I loved La Femme Nikita on USA all those years ago and also the original movie. Was the pilot any good? Anyone?

I'll likely check it out due to the positive buzz this show has been getting. Just wish I had the CW in HD.

Wait, what? Every single review I've read has called this mediocre in the extreme.

But hey, I'll watch it. I mean, Maggie Q? More like Maggie Q...ute? Amirite?

It does have the advantage of being the first new show of the season that I am curious about.

I will probably also give it a chance but only because Maggie Q is in it.

Wasn't there also a Hong Kong remake of La Femme Nikita? My memory is failing me on the title and stars.

The Hong Kong remake your thinking of might be Naked Weapon also starring Maggie Q.

I think that was a remake (sequel?) of Naked Killer.

The movie I was thinking of turned out to be Black Cat and starred Jade Leung.

This. The update does look cheesy as hell, and Maggie Q doesn't exactly draw me in like say Peta Wilson, but hey, there's nothing else on. I'll give it a shot.

There are billboards all over town for this, and I could not tell that it was Maggie Q until I saw this thread. I love the original movie, never saw a need for a TV show version.

Well, if you want to get technical:

1) La Femme Nikita (French version)
2) Point of No Return (American version)
3) La Femme Nikita (USA network TV series)

and now Nikita (CW)

Hasn't aired on the West coast yet, but I saw a blurb in Entertainment Weekly last week and they gave it an A-

Wasn't expecting much from this, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Maggie Q looks like she'll make a good Nikita (that pic in post #17 doesn't nearly do her justice).

Love the twist of Nikita planting an inside (wo)man. This show will go on my Fall viewing schedule.
