It's really sad the decline in the quality of this show... it was once up there as one of the best of all time.

I thought it was one of the better episodes of the season, especially the scene at the bar.

I agree that the ending was a dud, but I wonder how much of that is due to them writing and shooting both seasons together.

I agree on 1 & 3 but not 2. She's never been my favorite, but it seemed reasonable to want him to go to the AA meetings and the dance recital, esp. since he said he would. Clearly Tommy's the same as always.

The bar scene was just great--"Are you a firefighter too?" "Nahh...I'm the chief!"

Wow that opening gave me the chills. The episode started off good, but declined. I get it that Janet wants him to be there for the immediate family, but shit, its not like Damian isnt related to him. It's his cousin's kid (and hes the godfather). I wouldnt put him first, but after an event like happened I would be there for that kid as much as I could! I would feel guilty as shit for basically talking him into staying and then having to watch something like that happen.

The ending though was a nice little "twist" if you want to call it that. But yea, this show has sadly run its course...

So is Damian supposed to be dead now? The way he was slumped in the chair makes me think so since I though Tommy only talked to dead people.

I'm guessing since he's can't communicate, this is how Tommy will work out his guilt over it.

This season sucked and the finale made me really uncomfortable... though maybe thats a good thing? Pushing the envelope? That bar scene was the worst, using a brain dead guy for pussy. If Franco and them are as bad ass with the chicks like they say, they wouldnt need that.
