Thanks as always.

Just an FYI, Outlaw's timeslot premiere is Friday September 24th.

You forgot The Good Guys Fall premiere is also Friday September 24th on FOX.

I think you should go ahead and delete the summer thread and sticky this one ASAP. This is going to quickly drop to the 2nd page during the week.

Also,

Luther with Idris Elba (Series Premiere) Sunday October 24th on BBC America

Body of Proof (Dana Delany & Jeri Ryan) is TBA on ABC

If anyone is wondering The Apprentice is the regular edition. Celebrity will be back in March 2011.

So what are the top 5 or so new network shows that are generating a lot of good buzz?

If I had to guess:

1) The Event (NBC) -- Heavily Hyped action/conspiracy serial.
2) Hawaii Five-O (CBS) -- Update of classic long-running CBS cop drama
3) No Ordinary Family (ABC) -- New Superhero themed drama
4) Undercovers (NBC) -- JJ Abrams created this show (anything w/ his name gets buzz)
5) Blue Bloods (CBS) -- Tom Selleck's return to weekly TV and CBS

You could probably thrown in Nikita (CW) as well. But, I think the opinions are kind of mixed on that.

Thanks for posting! Typo on Burn Notice, the 10th is a Wednesday, the 11th is a Thursday.

I rarely give new shows a shot anymore, opting to catch up during the summer if they are picked up for a second season (caught up on Glee & Big Bang this spring/summer), but with the mass exodus of shows from last season(Heroes, 24, Scrubs, Lost, Better off Ted) I think I'm going to give all 6 of these a shot.

Where is V? If they are going to do another half ass job of putting a short season together and show 4 episodes now then another 4 or 5 episodes next spring then they may as well tank the series.

I think there is a mistake here, unless they made Glee into a 30 minute show.

Right now it's only 13 episodes and I believe they plan to premiere it in November.

Thanks!! So 12 episodes last season and now only 13 this season. I would rather view this in mini-series fashion although I am sure these days that is not very good for the ratings fight week after week. Oh well....guess I will be thankful it is back for another short season. I was a huge fan of the original mini-series and thought they did a great job with the show this past year. I remember watching both mini-series as they aired night after night in the eighties. :)

I have nothing to watch on Thursdays now that Survivor moved to Wednesday and Supernatural to Friday.

It's dead anyway. Late premiere and a new ABC boss...it'll get canned. But I'll enjoy it anyway.

Really absolutely nothing? Thursday is the busiest night of the week. You mean Fringe, The Vampire Diaries, and the new show Nikita along with The NBC sitcoms, especially Community don't interest you at all? Also, the original Apprentice returns to Thursday's as well. I can understand how the CBS Procedurals like CSI and Mentalist along with Bones probably don't interest you.

Thursday's are going to be insane this season.

It's not like "V" is going to run 5 seasons or more. I'll watch and enjoy it for however long it lasts. Love the casting of Jane Badler as Diana for this season.

Re: Fall 2010 Premiere Dates

I'm disappointed that Parks & Recreation is going to be a mid-season replacement. I loved watching Community, Parks & Recreation, and The Office back-to-back-to-back. Throwing 30 Rock in between the two disappoints me greatly. At least I can use that 30 minutes to check out Shit My Dad Says, but if I end up not liking that I guess I'll at least have 30 minutes to do something else.

Last year Thursday was probably my favourite night of television. Glad most of it is staying intact for the fall.

08:00-08:30: Community
08:30-09:00: Parks & Recreation
09:00-09:30: The Office
10:00-10:30: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
10:30-11:00: The League

I think it was mentioned earlier in the summer that the cast and crew started shooting season 3 in the spring to get a head start on the season before Amy Poehler had to take her maternity and they weren't happy when they learned it was being held to midseason.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I was thrilled to hear it was renewed, but hearing it was going to be aired midseason really bummed me out. It's definitely my most anticipated returning show for the fall.

Out of curiosity, does anyone else keep a schedule of what they watch just to keep it all straight? I'm a little OCD and like to keep stuff organized so I made a spreadsheet that has all the stuff I plan on watching, channels, premiere dates, etc. Here's what my schedule looks like for September:

Can't wait for Sons Of Anarchy tomorrow!

Well, it could, as we don't really have any other decent Sci-Fi show left (Supernatural, sure...but nothing on the big four). Shame though, it really picked up in the last few episodes.

I don't see Outsource making it past 5 or 6 episodes....so I expect to see P&R back around November. It's got a terrible plot and I don't think out of work Americans will want to watch a show on the people who just took their jobs.

I can't believe that show got greenlit. It reminds me of the movie Bamboozled, where they make a pitch for a ridiculously offensive minstrel show, and the exec loves it. The promo is awful.
